Isn't this the exact opposite of what they claimed they are doing since the last couple years? That they are seeding 1-16 by merit instead of making matchups/geographical sense? Screw all that I guess, can't let one conference possibly dominate the CWS

I don't know on what authority you make this statement, but if that is true, then we don't need a 1 through 16 seeding system. Let's just go right back to giving hosts, and only giving a top 8 seeding, while being able to match teams in whatever way is convenient.

Seawolves Claim Sixth America East Title in Come From Behind Fashion

VESTAL, N.Y. – The Stony Brook baseball team is back atop the America East mountain after defeating Binghamton 7-5 in the 2019 America East Baseball Championship Game. Junior Chris Hamilton (Schenectady, N.Y.), who was named the tournament's Most Outstanding Player, drove a two-run double to the right center field gap in the sixth inning, giving the Seawolves the lead for good.

I was surprised to see Ole Miss at #12... to get paired up with Arkansas.

Stony going to whip up on LSU then Southern Miss is going to finish them off in the bracket.

Wouldn't be surprised to see LSU fight out of the losers only for Southern Miss to beat Arizona then they ax LSU. Arizona is going to put up 20 runs on LSU pitching. USM and Arizona isn't a good match up for LSU.
