People simply see things the way they want to, because we lack the information to understand what actually happened.
This is a rumor site now more than anything

ust stop typing my friend, your posting privileges are suspended
If you think an AD is running around hiring all the assistants to every sport that LSU offers, then Woodward might as well fire Ogre and pocket that money for use in the athletic dept.
I second this.. SOme of you posters really do come up with stupid shite on here

When did hiring coordinators fall exclusively on the AD? Was it so some fans could blame Woodward for Pelini?
ETA the DC from Cincinnati is not quite the same as getting Chris Peterson from Boise or Fisher from FSU or Mulkey from Baylor

I think Freeman's wife is white and that plays better in the midwest or northeast

Freeman was a done deal but SW should have been negotiating with his wife because she is the one that shot it down. She wanted to stay in the Midwest not the south

But to those that think Woodward is a magician and gets everything he wants how soon y'all forget the Freeman saga that literally happened a few months ago.
It's like people just need to create new narrative just to be pissed about something.

Orgeron got played bc he couldn’t keep his mouth shut.

SW doesn’t do negotiations with assistants, that falls on the head coach

And there it is.
When you get so many simple minded biased individuals posting, it turns into a shite show.
Low level thinkers blame who they choose. Thanks for helping to prove my point.

That's a flat out lie. You think O is talking about multi million contracts with these people with SW?

Explain how he got played, since you know so much about the situation.

Orgeron is not throwing money figures out to assistants based on what he wants to pay. If you think that is happening,

Now this is true. Orgeron isn't setting limits on terms. Woodward is.

Since ND upped their offer how is it that Freeman played Woodward? There is no play there. ND stepped up and that is where Freeman wanted to be. If money mattered most maybe he would have taken the LSU job had ND not stepped up.

Fact. That you had to explain that to the rant speaks volumes to the lack of mental acumen among it's posters.

Right. Woodward gives him a budget and the head coaches make their hires, meaning there is no link to Woodward and whatever happened with Freeman.

Did Scott get played or did Freeman stay in the midwest where he is from and coached all his life?
This is the most likely scenario. I've heard it was family related, but I suppose no one really knows except for Freeman. I believe it was his choice to be here initially.
Woodward isn't a magician. He cant force people to accept terms of contracts. Woodward has a pretty solid record of getting the barriers removed prior to offers. This one was just more sticky than others.
