I used to work with Al Coffee. He told me that when they played Notre Dame in South Bend, he was in blocking for the field goal attempt at the end of the game. He got shoved backwards by an All American DE and the kick deflected off Al's Helmet. The picture was the cover of the sports page the next day. Hahahahah

LSU’s starter at cornerback in both 2006 and 2007 ... Played in a total of 41 games, starting 30 times ... Started the final 27 games of his career ... Capped career with the Tigers with 91 tackles, nine interceptions and 25 PBUs ... Of his nine career interceptions, three were returned for touchdowns ... Considered a tremendous cover corner during his LSU career ... Graduated in December of 2007 with a degree in general studies.
