Let's just say that LSU's defense plays as well or better than they did against A&M when they play Bama and Florida. Would Pelini still be gone? I think not.
(Note: LSU held A&M to their fewest yards of the season and 2nd fewest points)

I don't see him leaving either way.

He will be the DC next year. It really doesn’t matter if we like it or not. The remaining games are irrelevant.

You are about to see bo’s defense absolutely destroyed and embarrassed three weeks in a row. Prepare yourself. He will be crucified.

The defense could be as bad as it was vs State and he still wouldn't be gone. We still haven't played the best offenses on our schedule so it may actually be a possibility.

I honeatly Think we’ve turned a corner on defense.

We’re still not great but we’re not as bad as we were early I. The season when we were giving up 44 to Missouri.

I think We may still get spanked by Bama and Florida, but they’re generally spanking everyone they play.

Florida’s one loss was 42-38 I think.

O has hitched his wagon to Pelini, so he's not going anywhere unless O goes with him.

Still? Pelini wasn't going anywhere no matter what. Orgeron knew we were going to struggle this year. He prepared his recruits, and I'd bet he prepared the AD. He sold the fans because it's his job to get them to buy tickets, but he went into this year with a mission of laying the groundwork for the future. Pelini is part of that.

One week, two weeks, three weeks, a year.

No matter what happens the headhunters will be after him.

I honestly don’t know if he’s going to be gone after this year. I’m about 50-50 on it. The bottom line is, If O keeps him it’s going to be on his head. If the defense underperforms again next year, and that’s gonna reflect on o for not making a decision sooner. So that’s gonna be a decision he has to make. But what I’m saying, is that the calls to get rid of Bo will be huge after these three games. Just wait and see. This board is going to go ape shite.

He’s 100 percent not leaving. Not sure where the rant gurus get their info.

Don’t just look at the A&M game. The defense has steadily gotten better as the season has gone on. Yes I get it they only could get better but they were really good for majority of the first half against Auburn until the whole team quit then we’re good against Arkansas except for a couple big plays and the top 2 corners leaving the game left a large hole then they played great for 4 quarters against A&M.

This is always the narrative when we want someone fired. And it’s been debunked countless times.

I don’t believe it. O identifies a problem, he tries (Key word “tries”) to fix it with new hires. one thing he’s done consistently well is make an effort to fix glaring problems. Seriously doubt he keeps Bo.

Care to give an example, because I can give you two. Dinardope hitched his wagon to Tepper and Miles hitched his to Cameron.

I don’t think that’s even kinda true. They were good against A&M. That’s it. Felipe Franks had 4 completions for over 200 yards. That’s not improvement.

I think O genuinely believes Pelini and the defense will be improved in 2021.

I also believe O will save the “fire Pelini” card for after 2021 season just in case the season goes bad and it can potentially buy O one more season in 2022.

O fired Canada
Miles ditched Malveto after one year (this is the big one everyone forgets)
O kicked D Craig to the curb
O got rid of Robinson because he wasn’t recruiting well enough

Need some more?

We're not going to pay him to sit at the house and let CEO hire yet another personal friend of his to come in and get paid.

This is CEO's hire... we shouldn't reward bad hires.
