I couldn't remember if he played in '85 or not. If he did, then yes he is on the list.

I'm more upset that Andrew Whitworth isn't on the offensive line list. What's up with that?!

Why are any of you upset? This isn't an official list from LSU. Who really gives a shite?

This list is a huge fail without this little guy from Patterson.

colt david has no business being ontop of the kickers. just cause he kicked for 4 years and scored the most points doesn't mean i want him to be my kicker.

and i'll take les over the other coaches.

and i'm too young to have seen much, but i'll take kevin faulk over anyone.

and again, i didn't watch tommy hodson play, but i'll take take matt flynn over jamarcus. rohan number one, of my lifetime.

I agree with you that Rohan is the best in at least my memory.

But, who's better than David?

I would go to Dunkin Doughnuts with Jamarcus Russell. Then maybe the Pimp My Ride store. Playa knows how to sport the bling. Every time I see him pimped out I think of "Sweet Daddy" from the show Goodtimes.

Be real. No other qb has made or could match JR's play making ability. Herb was a cool cat and should be on the list from UF'97 alone. DD-W should be on the special teams for sure. I like lionel turner/cameron vaughn as a toss up for the last spot.

Todd McClure was a beast while at LSU, no?

No, you proved nothing. Like a retard, you were playing a little game with yourself. Now, find me one of those who GRADUATED in 1985. Zero. None. And it's funny that some of you, including Cigtyme, feel that since Cecil Collins played in only 4 games, that this gives him no right to be the best RB. As if he was just going to stop rushing for yards and suck...did you see the three full games he played in? He rushed for 172 against a very solid MSU D on the road. He rushed for over 230 against the SEC west champs in AU and still had to split carries with Mealey. The first play from scrimmage against Akron, he broke a 68 yard TD run. I watched Cecil play in HS for a few games and there was no one like him as far as downhill runner. Yes, he's my #1 back I have ever seen at LSU. Mike Gottfried - stroke victim or not - agrees with me. That's the same "logical thinking" that says Brandon Larson wasn't a better hitter than Brad Cresse because he only played one year at LSU. Do you need that much to gauge how good someone is? You really need 4 seasons to do that? Whatever.

I didn't put Hilliard on the list because most of his career is outside of the 25 year range. We went to the Liberty Bowl his senior season. As Port City said, "Who cares? It's NOT AN OFFICIAL LIST." All of you who are asking why not this person and why not hat person...make your own god damn list and figure out why for yourself? I don't know why you have an obsession with Todd McClure or why anyone thinks Andrew Whitworth was a better OL than Andolsek or Wilkerson or Albergamo. I wonder what those three would have been like at 6'7"? This is my opinion. The point was for people to make theirs. Big fricking deal. Instead it's "This list is worthless without Jack Hunt at safety and Todd McClure as an OL!"

Yeah, I have 30 K posts and have been a member since 2004. I work at a job where few people jones for LSU sports and I like to talk sports on here. I'm not hanging out in the OT asking for pics or GTFO on a nightly basis. Excuse me for being a fan. But it just amuses me that you have to get on a highhorse and give us a link to wikipedia. You're so clever. 12 year olds know who the frick Hilliard is. If I am doing my all-time RB's, he's top 5 material. But I left him off simply because he was here for ONE year. Yeah, so was Cecil, but he was the BEST I saw at LSU...better than Faulk. So, here ya go...I can almost one up your Wikipedia.

Yeah, he sucked didn't he? I don't care, either, if he kicked for 4 years. Maybe Wade Richey is more your thing...he could kick 80 yarders in practice.

Well, good for you. I wonder if we win 7-8 instead of 10-11 if you'll stay strong for da hat.

Anyone was pretty damn good. I saw anyone play quite a bit and I dunno...I kinda like Anyone. Dude could run.

There was a reason Flynn backed him up. I suppose thou who knoweth nothing but Kevin Faulk also knoweth more than one Jimbo Fisher and Saban/Miles.

Do names like Bradie James, Trev Faulk, and Allen Stansberry ring out? Caston was very good, but he's not in that company. So, that's "how I left him out."

I am waiting on the "How could you leave Rodney Reed and Tyke Tolbert out?" Everyone has opinions...if they'd all just be bold enough to share them fully.

My reasoning for my running backs since so many tink my top 5 is absurd...

1. Collins - As I have said, I have never seen a more complete back in an LSU uniform. You don't run for 400 yards against two good SEC opponents in back to back games and not have something special. No one will change my mind ever. He was Bo Jackson-like good. He was running over guys like Takeo Spikes.

2. Faulk - Most evryone else's #1 and that's fine and mostly because Collins is blackballed.

3. H Williams - Started as a true frosh and before he tore up his knee in the Superdome, he was as good as advertised. He wasn't the same after that surgery in college, but while he was healthy he was a complete back - great out of the backfield.

4. Mealey - Was right there with Collins and Faulk. Lest we frget the Indy Bowl? Rondell was quiet but without him, we don't win 19 games from '96-'97.

5. Why Toefield? Let's start with 21 rushing td's and the motto, "So goes LT, so goes LSU."

I could have easily added:

Hiliard
non-fat Broussard
Addai
Fuller
Hester (but to the poster who said he> Cecil...bwahahaha)
C Scott

I lik MY 5 just fine.

WHY? Because he played in 4 games? Because he's a criminal? Sorry...he was the best I had seen at LSU.

Addai...love him, but what did he do that was so uncanny? He had a possessed game against UF in '04 and some other very solid games. Any 200 yard games?

Hester...he carried his lunch pail to work, but again...200 yard games? 4 TD's in a game?
