Euro Fantasy

Posted by Beer Gut on 5/25/12 at 8:56 pm
Has anyone set up a tigerdroppings fantasy league for the euros yet?

If not, we should probably check out either the official UEFA site game UEFA Euro Fantasy or the ESPN soccernet game ESPN Euro Fantasy.

If anyone is interested, please set it up or let me know which site looks better to you and I'll try to do so.

Cheers.

Apparently what he's wearing is called a mankini. Heard the guys on the guardian podcast talking about it yesterday.

Wow, that ultimatum didn't work out too well for Rafa.

Nasri is better.
I did find that interesting, thanks for the link.

Thank god you had Nasri on the bench instead of Marin.

Bale has been on my EPL fantasy team for the last month without doing shite, and now he goes and gets a second half hat trick for you.

I think Patrick Peterson referred to Cam Newton as "Superman" in an interview after the game last Saturday.

Not exactly the best bulletin board material from either side...

I feel better about the game after that interview. Anyone who wears a short sleeve button down shirt is neither a leader nor a champion.

I'm wearing a short sleeve button down shirt right now at work. :banghead:

Tennessee Jed is clearly very  that you asked this question.
That guy is so epic, I laughed my arse off when I saw him in that photo.

In 2008, JLee played in 11 games, had 9 sacks. JJ played in 2.5 games had 8 sacks In 2009, JLee played in 1.5 games, had 3 sacks. JJ played in 11 games, had 34 sacks I think you've misplaced your sack meter

Well, I guess I can't say that this statistic is inaccurate. But the pass protection from the offensive line was much better in 2008 than it was in 2009, so the comparison really has no validity. And I seem to recall watching a lot of balls thrown from our QB go to the other endzone in 2008...

I'm not trying to dog JL though. Seriously, I'm just giving my opinion as to why I think JJ is a better choice for this team.

First of all, I thought JJ showed definite signs of improvement. I noticed him checking to second and third options, which was not something he did much last season. I think he played well overall.

As far as JL, I think he's got great heart and can throw a nice pass. I'm just concerned that he isn't mobile enough to be effective with our somewhat questionable offensive line's pass protection.

To answer your question, that's why I wouldn't give him a shot. I think he'd get sacked too much. Not necessarily a knock on him, just the state of the team I think.

Good luck Zack, I'd have done the same.

Mother F'er we need a quarterback though... :banghead: :banghead: :banghead:

Anybody who is a fan of the USA and a soccer fan should support MLS. No doubt MLS is nowhere near an elite league right now, but it is improving. And more importantly, it is pioneering efforts to develop an academy system in the US that can transform the the country into a major international soccer power.
Alright, never mind . I guess I made the mistake of thinking there were a lot of soccer fans on this board...
