I get what you are saying, but Vandy being ranked where they are is based heavily on one game against that same SC team.
Possibly. But we are ranked 7 spots ahead of Vanderbilt currently, so I’m not sure what the argument is. They have the same record but Vandy has a slightly worse SOS so they are ranked slightly behind LSU.

I don’t agree with that. Clemson and Florida aren’t great teams but they are significantly better than Va Tech and Utah State. Take out the SC game and what has Vandy done to warrant a ranking?

Don't argue with me, argue with the websites that calculate SOS rankings.

You are going to have an awfully tough time putting together a top 25 if you just start taking out certain games from each team to help fit your narrative.

That was my point with your argument taking out the SC game in your evaluation of LSU.

I never did that. I look at the whole season.

Make Pavia into a passer and Port of will be asking YOU to buy him pizza tomorrow evening.

Many reasons not to…the main being 2 dumb AF interceptions once again from our QB

And looking at Vandy’s whole season, what impresses you if you aren’t putting undue faith in the deceiving final score against SC playing most of the game without Sellers? They have shown they can out scheme teams offensively when they don’t have a talent disadvantage, but not so much when they face talented defenses. Likewise, the defense has looked suspect when facing better offenses.

Yes they have looked suspect.

I think they are likely overachieving based on the overall talent that they have on their team but besides that, not much. I don't think Vanderbilt is that great of a team.

If you listen to Portnoy for about 30 seconds, you'll realize how much of a complete dumbass he is.
Same could be said for Brian Kelly

I feel like the smart bet is LSU, both on the spread and the ML. A program like LSU at plus money line odds? Doesn’t happen too often, have to jump all over that whenever possible.

Portnoy is a moron.
Earlier this year on Underwood before the OU game.
We are about to witness the beginning of the greatest QB of all time!
He goes 9-24 for 142.

The self named “sharps” lose 2.7 to 3 out of 5 bets. They lose only a fractional amount less than the drunken casual bettor.
