Porter isn't coaching in bowl game - new coaches active.

while you jokers are busy analyzing a tweet, the news came out that Larry Porter will NOT be coaching at the bowl game after all.
with that came the news that Billy Gonzales and Frank Wilson are both now considered active coaches, and while they are recruiting right now, when they return they will be on the field both here and in Orlando.

Because of the limits on the number of coaches allowed to be active coaching or recruiting. LSU was trying to get it both ways. This is good.

i dont really get that part. thats what i said to Steve when we found that out. How does one coach not mean two coaches can.
think maybe something with mccarthys contract got figured out. not entirely sure. all i know is lsu told me no more porter and that the other two are now active.

Probably for the best I am sure he ready to get to recruiting and building a staff at Memphis.
Plus Gonzo and Wilson can get busy getting to know the players and staff.

Wilson was just waiting to be cleared, Gonzalez wouldn't have been able to coach if Porter stayed.

From the article I read Gonzales was the guy that was going to coach and Wilson was only going to recruit while Porter was coaching for the bowl.I like that both new coaches are in better.I like Porter but he is not with us anymore.Let's see what the new guys can do.

its quite possible (depending on truth of "not me" statement that tweet and the repercussions of it could have more impact on the cap 1 bowl that who the RB coach is for the game

How many practices do they have?
I hope they don't try to install to much to fast. That could not be good either. Although, it's kinda hard for it to be worse.
