The entire second half. All Mizzu did was pickup full court man and McMahon had no answer for it. Completely baffled him.

KJ killed it in the first half.

Barely touched the ball in the second.

He’s not good at coaching, sadly.

AM turned the ball over nearly every possession. Hence the lack of KJ touches. Coaches fault for letting Miller play the way he does.

I completely agree, but we were very lazy with moving without the ball, passes, and effort at catching passes. Looks like a lazy, entitled team that doesn't have the drive. Although I thought the freshmen played well. You have to want it more than your opponent, and we don't seem to. We need better coaching, players and effort. The good thing about this season is we can only get better, Geaux Tigers!

LSU is losing their only consistent scorer. They are likely to lose some, maybe all of their Freshmen. The HC will unfortunately be the same next season, but it is not unrealistic to think he will have a WORSE roster next season. That’s not being negative. That’s being realistic.

So no, it is not a certainty “things can only get better”.

In the grand scheme of things the buyout after this season isn’t that much different than after next season or the season after that.

What is certain is that it can't get much worse.

We have no good ball handling guards. Missouri was way more athletic and our guys were easy pickings.

Even with all that we had a small lead, but Hays decided to pretend he was Chris Jackson

Bingo, we have no Guards that can handle the ball. Miller actually played ok, but he's not a PG. Neither is Hayes, although he's forced to play there.
Hill is a PG, but hasn't been good this year for whatever reason.

I get it, the coach is to blame for the roster. But, it's hard to turn chicken shite into chicken salad.
This team has 1 good player, KJ. That's it. Miller may be serviceable as it seems maybe he is finally getting over the knee.
Ward and Reed are showing a little life and if they stick around could be players.
Hayes and Fountain rode the bench on bad teams for a reason, they aren't very good. And last night Hannibal was pretty terrible as well.
It's easy to see, this is just a bad team. With a yr under his belt in the SEC, let's see what CMM can do in the portal this year. Can he find some SEC caliber G's that can at least shoot a little. If next yr's team is as bad as this yr's team, then yes cut bait and move on.

off ball screens to get someone to pop open for the guy dribbling down the court to throw to as soon as he gets to half court so we don't dribble away 20 seconds before we actually get into a set.

Way, way too much dribbling going on.

I've tried to not be too judgmental towards MM but last night he let a win slip away because he refused to pull Hayes out of the game. He played horribly in the last 5-6 minutes of the game, multiple, terrible turnovers and lackluster effort on defense and lack of trying to receive a little off target pass. Some of these players have very poor situational or court awareness.
