Where's the "poll"?

He couldn't be more gone. He'll "survive" to go to another top program and take them to an eventual championship. We'll, on the other hand, slump to a level of mediocrity that was previously unimaginable. We're screwed. His career will be disrupted, but salvageable. He'll never coach another game at LSU.

Exactly, he needs to fire his lawyer immediately.

He had a great built in excuse not to talk with the FBI probe, and he fricked that up. Ride it out, keep getting paid, search for a loophole.

Will Wade will resign. Go to coach professional basketball for a couple of years. Someone in the SEC will offer him a deal and the new and improved Billy Donovan will be born. Thanks Joe !

He gone. LSu won't fire our Department because then it'll look like we're trying to take the next step (i.e. condone cheating discreetly)

We'll be stuck in this loop till we hit lows in all 3 major sports.

I no longer see a way for this to be resolved with Will Wade coaching at LSU.

Any way this plays out will lead to one party walking away from the other.

He sees the handwriting on the wall after they inexplicably went on a media tour and The Advocate wrote at least two pro-LSU admin columns. When Alleva starts taking about integrity before winning and LSU’s lawyer starts saying Wade hasn’t denied anything, those are prettty inflammatory statements meant to somehow garner public favor.

At this point, he’s probably trying to get them to fire him, then sue when they say he was fired with cause and there’s no buyout. I think that’s what his statement today aimed at doing. I’m sure he wants to be set free now to get a head start on finding his next job.

Sounds like they want him to say he did nothing wrong so even the smallest infraction will give them show-cause not to pay him

I think the administration is trying to fire him, but they are hoping he slips up so they can wiggle out of paying the 9 Mil.
he’s already slipped up—on tape twice. Why would they pay him his contract when he’s on tape offering to pay players, refuses to talk to his boss about it, and will likely get us on massive probation.

He gone, and we won’t pay him a dime.

no, we’ll fire him because he offered to pay players. Kind of a no-no.
