Poll: Who thinks O still would rather be the coach at USC vs LSU?

I’m just curious what everyone thinks. He clearly has a special place in his heart for USC and living in California but LSU is the home town team with better talent and recruiting grounds generally. I honestly don’t know I think it’s closer than a lot of people might believe and he would have to really think about it.

It might not be but reading his book and seeing interviews he always talks about his love for USC and how much it hurt him not to get that job. I still think he would choose LSU but if he were to ever leave LSU I believe his first choice would be to go back to USC.

O is from Louisiana but I don’t think he has any particular loyalty to LSU.

I think Ed has the same syndrome that most Louisiana people have deep down where they constantly feel the need to prove they are worthy or good enough.
I’m sure the rejection of what he doesn’t have is probably a more powerful emotion for him than the pride of what he actually has.
Now whether or not that means he wishes he was there and not here, idk.
