Yes we should leave the conference
No we should stay in the conference that screws us every chance they get.

LSU shouldn’t make any decisions based on emotional knee-jerk reactions.
But if an opportunity arises that makes more financial sense, I don’t think we owe the conference any loyalty atp.
Big if though. A lot of brands in the SEC get value from symbiosis. The fact these same schools have been playing each other consistently for a century is what makes it rich.
It’s one of the only things in college football making it still feel like college football. That’s really the irony of the conference threatening LSU with this “for the good of the game” lol.

I don't like what the SEC is doing to us but that makes me want to stay and beat them more.

I wouldn't say yes, but LSU should absolutely entertain offers from other conferences

We are not leaving the sec lol

Just win in Football, Basketball, & Baseball while in the SEC. Win Championships, win National Titles, all while Sankey has to watch LSU rise to the top of the SEC in all three major sports.
Maybe we should change STTDB to STTDS (with the last S for Sankey).

This isn’t a knee jerk reaction for me. I have wanted to leave the conference for decades. If this was a one time thing, I would just let it go and move on. Now with the 12 team playoff we don’t need the conference. If we are the best team in college football we will make it.

Im torn:
I've had some of my fondest memories running into other SEC fanbases. Going to see those games. Back when the Hangout was an actual sports bar and not a big warehouse, I used to love seeing all the different SEC shirts there in early September. Same with Florabama concerts and Destin beach trips. You feel like you're all family.
but,.. given the current environment, and the absolute lack of respect we are getting... I think perhaps,
Independent, figure out finances...
Smooth over relations with Texas, Florida, Texas A&M, Maybe Georgia... try to have a couple of those games every year, sprinkled in with a few top tier Big 10 or ACC matchups, then protect your depth and get in the playoffs...
Maybe there's a hybrid solution to all of this, but I don't think the SEC as we know it, will continue to exist. We just live in a different time now. You can't have smaller or non-aggressive schools trying to hold back those that want to compete. Those that's fanbases are unwilling to tolerate failiure.
Tennessee hasn't won anything since Moby Dick was a minnow. They are cool with that. No harm, no foul. They can go be important with South Carolina and Arkansas.
Schools like LSU, Florida, Alabama (depending on if they can keep up long term when their brand continues to fade), Texas, etc etc.. will find themselves in a league of their own anyways...

Absent a major change in SEC leadership, yes. The trust has been shattered. Today's SEC is a criminal enterprise.

No. I don’t like the SEC, but there are no real alternatives. We have to remember that leaving would probably hurt baseball and other sports. The issues with the SEC are manageable if LSU teams win n the field.

We should at least have a vote. A super public and media engaged vote, that includes all LSU top supporters.

If the other schools roster and play professional players, then no. LSU should refuse to play against those teams, leave, and then sue the SEC for allowing schools to break their stone clad rules.

Do I have to be as unbiased as you are when picking one of your answers?

Of course we should not leave the most important conference in college football.

lol - No - be as biased as you want to be. I am surprised that people seem to love the abuse though. I should have put a disclaimer . Not a professional pollster. lol
