jesus fricking christ, there are so many fricking morons in this thread
this thing isnt over, the players are not in the clear, nobody BOOM'ed anyone, and nothing has been swept under the rug. in fact, the only thing that is different is we wont get any news on monday like we thought
this is per randy rosetta: Nathan Fisher: “We don’t have a new date, and the reason it was postponed is because I just got into the case this morning at 8 o’clock, so I’m playing catch-up. I just met the kids this morning.”
do any of you brain dead retards know what that means? it means fisher is being a competent attorney and wants to make sure he has all the facts and details before the players talk to the police...and the players will most definitely still talk to the police, just not tomorrow at 9am and with a lawyer next to them
in reality, this postponement changes absolutely nothing

Which one of you self-righteous sumbitches wants to give me your tickets??? Please step forward.
Nothing has been proven. Everything is heresay.
Miles is the coach and will issue punishment as he sees fit. If he doesn't do what you deem to be right, TOUGH shite. It's not up to you.
The 60's are over, so take your lynch mob and head for the house.

You are, because we don't know what the EXACT situation is.
Until then, it's all pure speculation and conjecture.
This.

So for breaking curfew he should be suspended? That will never happen. He was in a fight big deal. For every time players get into fights with each other at practice should they be suspended? They fight all the time there, leaders and all. Should they also be suspended for showing the players who apparently must have these goddess leaders to know what is right that it is okay to fight?
Leave this leadership shite alone it is the only thread everyone has. Do you really think all of these young men are honestly looking up to these guys? Or are they just getting pumped up when one of them talks in the locker room. These guys aren't setting examples. They all do the same thing regardless of the "leader". Miles is the true leader of the team. He will punish them how he sees fit, and what will truly teach them the lesson. He he feels that not suspending them is the best way then so be it. If you don't like it quit buying tickets.
fisherbm1112 hit the nail on the fricking head. Close the thread now.

FINE. He should though. Mr ALL I WANT IS WINS.
Who in the end doesn't want ends. Are you really pissed because I am being up front and truthful? If we have a shitty season because of this everyone most likely including yourself will scream for miles head because he "lost control of the team" get over yourself. If he does decide to suspend then we will have to live with it. If not then who gives a shite. Apparently their is a reason behind it that we will never know.

Tough talk for someone that is so outraged over bar room violence.

The same posters called for Oregon to bench Thomas for being a passenger in a car with weed and going 118 on the interstate. If you don't see the hypocrisy, then there is no point continuing this conversation.
Its really funny when looked at it from that perspective.
The same ones calling for DT to be benched are cheering that Jefferson is looking like he'll get away with doing whatever he did.
Not very shocking though.

Freaking Donte Stalworth ran over and killed somebody while driving drunk at 9 am and only got 30 days in jail.
It is just how the judicial system works .....
not comparable really

Not if their attorney is worth a shite. Telling your side of the story does nothing but place you at the scene of the alleged crime.

but I will have to deal with my anger because at the end of the day I still love the shite out of LSU.
AS DO I. But what about the right thing to do. Would you want Miles to NOT suspened him just so he can play in the Oregon game, and THEN sit him?????

We'll be besties on the OT in time Rummy. Don't be sad.
I'm not trying to be a problem Rummy...I just have strong opinions at times. Hope that isn't held against me in Admin Land. My record is sterling.

If the attorneys had talked to the victims and there was a settlement made, thus no charges filed
We'd better hope that didn't happen.
Because then, the NCAA is liable to step in asking questions six ways from Sunday as to WHO paid the settlements. Then you've got a whole different kind of trouble.

We should do so respectfully and understand that our actions have consequences. I have met with both the team and the unity council on several occasions since this incident. It is obvious to me that they want a redirection and to take ownership in that redirection. Whatever legal proceedings that are ongoing we will cooperate with and see how that all figures.
Holy crap.
YESSSSSSS...SOMETHING happened.
NOBODY is debating that.
Team rules were broken and I'm sure he wasn't thrilled that a bunch of guys were fighting - whatever the reason.
But to call them 'criminals' at THIS point is insane.
