Blake Baker is super aggressive, blitzing over 40%. Chances are OM pops a big one or two. They reach the low 20s. No one better at scheming guys open than Kiffin.

This would be a great game to sustain drives and wear Ole Miss down.

Offense has to step up

blow the top off with the pass if it's there throw it 40-50 times until they stop it. Nobody in the country can hold these guys

Our elite "D" will not allow more than 20 points!

Maybe I'll be wrong but I think OM is going to have a really tough time moving the football. LSU is incredibly stout against the run which means Chambliss is going to have to chuck it around the yard to beat us and I'm just not worried about him torching this secondary. I think LSU matches up really well with this rebel offense.

We'll know how good LSU is in this game. Clemson and Florida are terrible. If there's any weakness in this defense Kiffin will find it. This game right here will tell you if LSU is a playoff team or not this year.

This to me is a bit of an inverse game from those two. I think Florida has a really good defense and before they just completely quit, I think Clemson had a very talented defensive group. I think OM has shown that at best, the jury is still out on their defense and I don't love their matchup offensively with the LSU defense. I actually really like this matchup over all for the Tigers.

I see a 24-10 or 27-13 type game with LSU winning. They'll score a touchdown and maybe two. If the offense can wake up a little the game shouldn't even be that close. This is the first big test for the defense in my opinion. Not saying they're not great, because they are, but they'll be pushed harder in a lot of areas this game than they have been previously. I still don't see Ole Miss scoring more than 17 maximum.

Their D is decent but not UF good. 23-17 us.

Their D is much much worse than it was last year. I predict they finish in the 50s or 60s in total defense. Just not good on that side of the ball.

What I think as well. We likely see both QBs from Ole Miss after the D2 transfer gets completely shut down by LSU.

I don’t think they score more than 14 against our D. Unless they pick up one against the second team late after all the subs are in.

LSU’s defense is very legit

But lane is a great play caller. If there’s any coach/offense I’m worried about the rest of the way, it’s Ole Miss and OU

I think that we need to keep Ole Miss to 30 points are less to have a legitimate chance to win. But, I’m not sure we can do it because LSU has not faced an explosive offense to date. The jury is still out on whether we can contain this type of attack.

20 - 17 Ole Miss steals a home victory.

We fail to pass to B. Brown on the boundary and aren't a running QB threat while running RPO slants, so we score our AVG points against D1 opponents - reasonable assumption from LSU on the road against an SEC team. OM scores two touchdowns (one because of a turnover), two field goals by Ole Piss, partly because of bad field position swaps after 3 and outs that give them a few shots from our 30 after good LSU defensive stands.

If we can run Harlem Berry somewhere besides between the tackles and throw to B. Brown when he has man coverage, maybe we pull it out 24-20.

I don't think they will score more than 21 but could be wrong.
