Rebuild the Cow Palace now. Then when its finish play there while the new arena is built

Pmac layout and size is fine!
The layout is awful... Not only did we remodel and reduce seating the last time, but we reduced leg room somehow... Also the seats are like a mile from the court which hurts atmosphere.
If we go the renovation route, the PMAC needs to be completely gutted and rebuilt inside, and part of that needs to be losing the lower walkway to move the seats closer to the court

That stenciled Tiger head looks terrible.
The Cox logos are what looks terrible!

I am an Architect and this is what I would vote for! No way they tear it down with the new practice facility attached to it.

Build a new arena where the old Alec Box was located with an indoor parking facility around or on the side. The parking facility could also be used for much needed parking for football. Any renovation would tie up the facility for the season and the basketball team would have to relocated their games.

A poster here once told me that a rebuild is impossible due to having a live tiger habitat nearby

Just ask WW what he wants to do.

Alleva has been in talks with the City-Parish to co own a facility at Skip Bertman and River Road.
Did you just make that up?

Either way they should absolutely keep the location next to the football stadium. need to find a way to move fans closer to the court, even if it means less seating. I think a smaller more intense arena would be a better atmosphere than a big half empty arena.

Redesign features, restore and renovate. Main structure, size and location are great. It's history is incredible!

Remodel. Makes no sense in tearing down a good building. You would have to play somewhere else which might not set too good with the 1 year and done recruits.

Rebuild. Need to build a square arena.

How about a new floor to start with? That stenciled Tiger head looks terrible. Compare that to the TCU floor, the Kansas Jay Hawk logo and others.

We need a retractable roof over Tiger Stadium before anything is ever done to PMAC.

I like the PMAC inside and outside the way it currently is. Like others have said - focus on maintaining the current success and the PMAC will be fine.

You tried hard to make it look like you put a lot of thought into this post, but its obvious you didn't think at all

If we can make it look near what Houston did with their remodel, I think it would be fine. They did a nice job with theirs.
