Henry would have missed a month after this weekend. My thinking was, if he can give us 3-4 innings in the SECT, then he might be able to give us 5-6 innings on Friday. In a 1v4 game, that might be enough - and we can save our other starters for the rest of the regional.
If Henry doesn't throw much (or at all) in the SECT, and/or we don't host a regional (and have the 1 seed), then yes, I would probably do as you suggest, Move Walker/Marceaux/Hillard all up a game, and then if we need games 4/5, we do what we have to do.

no we don't. And LSU sent only 3 pitchers out of 20 to summer leagues last year. The rest were shut down. Only 1 is slated to play in summer leagues this year (a JUCO transfer)quote:

Injuries are happening everywhere across college ball & the minors
Travel ball is not summer ball, if a pitcher plays summer ball they are very limited, someone who knows more can expound but I believe it’s less than 10 innings spread out over the summer season

Injuries are a bigger issue this season, just like they were a bigger issue at MS State a few seasons ago
There are a lot of things that factor into the injuries, however you would rather believe “they” are injuring our pitchers instead of using common sense

This isn't simply "questioning a coach or player" and it's only the 2nd inning of the game. People get called out in the game thread for giving up too soon.
