I'm going to guess:

Thursday - Walker
Friday - Marceaux
Saturday - Johnny Whole Staff

Unless he decides to just stick with the same as last week since Hilliard was sick today. Hilliard's plan to throw today suggest he wants to remove him from starting though.

We play Thur-Sat again. I don't see Marceaux moving up two days ahead of schedule from Saturday to Thursday.

This is probably best case scenario if this can happen. However, I am sure you will see Saturday listed as TBD. I'm sure he is going to go all in trying to win the first two, which means if Hilliard is needed he will pitch. If we aren't starting Hilliard Saturday hopefully we won the first two, because it might get very ugly.

I didn't say I heard the rotation is changing. I'm going along with the thread, which is titled, "PM is changing the rotation."

I don't know if that's been officially said or not, but I think people are assuming since Mainieri said Hilliard was going to throw some tonight, but got sent home because he was sick, means he is not starting Thursday.

If we keeep the 6 seed we will most likely face Florida who will throw their ace at us. I’d say save Henry for that or start walker Thursday and then again Tuesday

Paul Mainieri said the weekend rotation will change. How? He’ll say tomorrow. #LSU

James Moran

Paul Mainieri confirms there’s changes coming to the weekend rotation, but he won’t say what until tomorrow
#LSU

Right now, Paul Mainieri said it’s “50/50” for Jaden Hill and Cole Henry to pitch in the SEC tournament — if #LSU gets past Tuesday.

He's probably setting up to throw Walker Thursday so he can go first in Hoover.

My guess is...

Thurs - Walker
Fri - Marceaux
Sat - Hillard

If Hillard is used on Thursday or Friday, you may see Peterson or Fontenot go Saturday.

I don't see Walker going Thursday and then Tuesday. We really don't have the pitching depth right now to make it through both Saturday and Tuesday. One of those games you are going to likely have to see the midweek mix of George, Costello, Ripolli, Moffitt. It would have been nice to see Henry and Hill each go two innings Tuesday to ease the blow, but it doesn't look like that is likely either.

On the glass half full side, whoever we play Tuesday should be in a similar situation. Unless a coach is willing to throw their normal Friday guy on 4 days rest. Maybe Mizzou does that since their season is over after the SECT. Maybe UF will be tempted since their season may depend on winning that game. We will see.

I doubt it happens, but if we won the first two games against Auburn with Walker and Marceaux going somewhat deep, do you throw the midweek assortment on Saturday and hope for the best (or willingly accept a possible L) in order to save Hilliard for game one of the SEC tourney? If you win game 1 of the tourney with Hilliard you would set up Walker and Marceaux to pitch on six days rest.

Certainly getting ahead of myself here... we have to win the Auburn series to have any shot at a host site, then probably nail down a quadrant 1 win or two in the tourney.
