Who eats Thanksgiving Dinner at night?

We've always had Turkey Day and Christmas Dinner at 12:00 noon or 1:00 p.m. so we can eat and then eat again!

This. Get the family meal out the way and then eat leftovers while drinking and watching the game... With the fricking family

Look at Texas A&M, they couldn't even sell out the game. 85k for a 105k stadium looks and sounds like it sucks.

Shadowlink shhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh!!! The idiots out there don't realize that one of the biggest advantages of Death Valley is a packed stadium with our screaming fans that make it very difficult on the opposing teams. I am sure they think well that is TAMU not LSU, we will be packed to capacity! They will find out at some point, that ain't so!!!

Um it will be different at LSU. Considering when it is play at Tiger Stadium it will be on Saturday not Thanksgiving. Go ahead and continue your crying though. Maybe someone will feel bad for you.

SEC Officials you fricking retards, change the game back to the Friday after Thanksgiving. That has become a recent tradition for LSU and most of the fans love it.

If by "most of the fans" you mean you, then yes. But I don't know anybody that likes LSU playing the day after Thanksgiving, especially when we do it at home. Most LSU fans want Saturday night home games, and the Friday after Thanksgiving takes away a Saturday night home game every other year.

Otherwise, I agree with your general point. Hopefully, the promise that the A&M game in BR will not be on Thanksgiving will be kept. But we're dealing with the SEC office, so I'm not holding my breath that A&M-LSU in BR won't be on Thanksgiving night some time in the next 5 or 10 years.

It was "ESPN Thursday Night Football." Just a coincidence it was on Thanksgiving.

You will get your wish. This game made lots of sense
when playing texas. Have your family meal and drive 90 miles to the game. Makes zero sense now and I do not know any Aggies that want to keep it. I felt bad for the Lsu people that were in town and 95% of the restaurants closed on Thanksgiving day.

The problem for BOTH programs is going to be more than inconvenience soon. With one bye week, both teams will be forced to wait until week 12 for a weekend off. That is ridiculous in the SEC West. No program has that kind of depth.

I can assure you that LSU will be protesting the schedule after the way this season played out. Even with two bye weeks, the schedule change coupled with LSU having a forced bye last week meant that we had to drop scheduling our last OOC game after Bama. That game was placed on our schedule for a specific reason, and we all saw why as a lifeless and beat to hell team got whipped by Arkansas on the road. I'm not saying that LSU wins that game after a virtual week off playing a token directional school or FCS patsy, but I think they at least play as well as they did against A&M.

But again, scheduling on Thanksgiving Day will be an issue for both programs every other year going forward. Unless we either see more seasons with 2 byes, or the SEC can give out an exception for an extra bye for this particular game, it will likely be short-lived. There is too much money and prestige at stake to let tradition potentially wreck a dream season. It is silly to put yourself at a disadvantage in such a tough conference.

Ok "in my opinion" it sucked having to take time away from Thanksgiving dinner to watch LSU.

Who the frick eats Thanksgiving dinner at 6:30? You eat Thanksgiving dinner around lunch and you eat leftovers at night.
