I really think the fans that were booing, drunk though they may have been, were not so much booing JJ going in but were voicing their displeasure that JL did not. After all that JL has gone through the fans were saying that this just is not fair. I just hope that the players who have voiced their displeasure with booing understand that its not JJ they booing, but decision to put him in at that time.

I don't have an agenda, but I am observant and have no problem pointing out that the players didn't react like this to Lee's treatment. I don't remember seeing everyone write a bunch of 12's on their arms and tweet their balls off because people were being mean to Jarrett.

Less than 10% of 92,000 boo, and benny interprets that as "we all we got"? Whatever it takes to get you motivated I guess.

it won't be long, mark my words. we will have the same reputation as miami! when you allow thug behavior, and it doesn't matter if it is the whole dam team to start breaking rules, what do you expect? if the coaches knew about this "tradition of breaking curfew after 2 adays" they need to be booed! woe to them that call evil good, and good evil! the younger generation will not get it!

Sure they did. The exact same way.

The number writing was a show of support and solidarity, at what was going on with JJ and the police.

Get this shite out of here dumbass. Are you really trying to say that LSU is anything like Miami for thug behavior? I know for a fact that guys snuck out and got drunk and got into fights when Coach Mac was at LSU. This is such a stupid post, I don't even know where to begin. Please leave this board.

If Jordan Jefferson plea bargains after the season, or is found guilty, will you continue to believe that the players should have been supporting him publicly? Also, why wasn't Josh Johns number on their arms?

LSU was on the map and actually winning titles long before these current players showed up on campus.
then I'll be sure or these current crop of players should read this BS you wrote if they happen to win a title, dickbag!! LSU was winning titles before, the last title was in '58 you a-hole, these current crop of players are the same players that won in 2003, 2007, modern era players, idiot, get it.

so while you may think you have the right to boo them, don't show up if they win it all, no one needs a loser around winners!!

yes. Considering he was taking the fall for a # of guys who also probably participated in the fight, it makes sense that they would stick up for him.

Is there a great # of LSU fans who have stopped buying tickets or stopped supporting the team in other ways cause of this action by the team? no...it had no effect save to have them stick together

I agree. On the way to the game I told my son that if Miles put JJ in the crowd would unleash a hail of Boo's. It did not have a damn thing with to do with the goal line issue. It was gonna happen, Miles knew it, and got it over with ASAP...

No. I hope this does not lead to that either. My concern isn't even with LSU football at this point. My concern is with how I know many fans will perceive this whole ordeal. This situation could end up dividing fans and students along racial lines. Seeing that it is 2011, that is my biggest fear. I doubt that many people on here do not see the racial biases coming out to play in this situation, and i said biases as in plural, because all sides are guilty.

Someone asked earlier, but I didn't see an answer. Why didn't the players put Johns' number on their arms?

I guess i was the only one LAST year that the WVU fans were asking me why did we boo? our QB ?

That is the first time that has ever happened to a player.
