This explains why Randle dropped so many balls and quit on routes.

how is this a race issue at all? @ JJ defenders.
JJ commited a CRIME. originally charged with a FELONYY.
Jesus..I have the same problem with people who defend illegal immigrants...they have ILLEGAL in the front of their name.
People watch football expect to see football players only. not criminals. I know battery isn't a big crime but he did miss 3 huge road games including #3 oregon.
Think of it this way. We lose Week 1 at oregon none of us are havin this conversation, and it would have been on JJ's shoulders for putting it on the 2nd string QB a week before the game.

love a lot of things about this site, but it has just become unbearable for a lot of fans lately - whether or not we are JJ/JL fans. If the admins policed and banned a whole bunch of these idiots who seem to be posting without much thought then I would appreciate that.
This is the only fan site unfortunately where things keep getting from bad to worse. Truly does not feel like the Tigers are #1 and 5-0.
amen. the only other time i've felt this way was when we were struggling in '09 and this many fans on this board were after miles scalp. it got dirty and i actually thought they were bama fans posting here. we're 5-0 and have a damn good team with damn good chemistry and some yo-yo's get pissed enough to get personal about one of our players. seems like nothing is good enough for them. i guess they should be ignored.

LSU has some of the dumbest fans you ever wanna find! You'll never get through, their braincells are fried from all the dope!!

Something tells me these same players weren't so worried about their family member @JLee when he was getting booed. So all of a sudden when JJ gets booed it's wrong because he's black and has nothing to do with him doing horrible last year with the exception of the last game and has missed practice the first 4 weeks of practice. I think it's unfortunate that the fans booed but I find it wrong for the players to stand up for one qb and not the other. Maybe it's because he's black and JLee is not. Who knows.

Just watching the game on TV, JJ had more class than our fans on Saturday. JJ is on the team folks, get behind him and JL. Yes, you can cheer for more than one player. We are LSU together!

Chastising these people that boo just make them want to do it more. It's their nature.
Posted on 10/2/11 at 9:27 pm to GeauxLSUGeaux
Again, if it was about supporting a teammate, why didn't any of them put Johns' number on their other arm?
Posted on 10/2/11 at 9:35 pm to GeauxLSUGeaux
You mentioned him playin bad last year and missing the first 4 games of the season as if that is his fault, I'm just tryin to understand your reasoning for sayin that is ok for folks to boo him. I mean if that is what you are sayin that is stupid as hell, you boo a kid becaus he played bad last year, and because he missed the first 3 4 games do to no fault from him, really frickin dumb!!
Posted on 10/2/11 at 9:37 pm to tubucoco
how is it not his fault? Les Miles didn't suspend him indefinitely for no reason. btw, I'm not for boo'ing him. I didn't boo him. But I did say, why is he in? Lee just got them down the field..and they get 40ppg.

No, I didn't boo him yesterday and I will never boo an amateur player. To say it wasn't his fault he missed time though is the dumbest thing I've seen on this board and that's really fricking dumb.

Was there this type of uproar when the fans routinely booed the shite out of Jarrett the last few years? There seems to be a lot bigger of a reaction toward JJ being booed than Lee, ESPECIALLY from the players.
Does anyone else agree with that?
I don't think there was an "uproar" from players in '08 over fans booing JL. IMO, times have changed even since then, i.e., by tweeting/facebook, players are making their thoughts and opinions more public than in '08.

maybe they don't like Johns.

I doubt it. I imagine those who publicly supported JJ are friends. Contrary to what some people believe, you don't feel the same about all teammates. The public support was about a teammate an friend I imagine.

is it ok to post pictures of some of the boo-birds?
maybe some boo'ers would like to post their own photos?

That '08 team was poison in the locker room. There were at least 3 players, whom I won't name, that come to mind. One in particular was in the media saying things about QBs not getting him the ball. This team is different. They all like each other, genuinely. A very large portion of them were out and were involved to some degree, yet the JJs took the punishments. I'd think both of those players are welcome additions back on the team as far as their fellow players are concerned.

Any person who boos at a college (or less, ie high school, middle school, etc) game is a classless redneck (and probably drunk or not) and a product of a disfuntional upbringing.
This aggression will not stand.
