Please, point out where I shat on an LSU football player. I love how you be so vague when you say this. If anything, I'm shitting on "actions" which I do not deem appropriate. Punctuation is a bitch.

Feels like u r shitting on a LSU player just bc
What exactly does "feel" mean?
Is that something like, well, I don't KNOW that is what is going on, but that is what I FEEL that is going on? So, it's really like saying, " I don't like what you're saying, so I FEEL like you should be banned - for this rule in which I don't KNOW that you are breaking, but I FEEL that way." I'm not 'shitting' on anyone. I FEEL like you are just out to get me.

Fine. I'll quit my 'flaming.' If they were co-players of the game and his twitter says 'player of the game' then, wow! what a #leader #teamplayer !
JJ = player of the game?

His twitter says "cbs player of the game, #grinding"
I didn't see this.
I didn't see this.

His facemask point made zero sense in relation to that play.
His overall point was right on. Backs stiff arm to the facemask all the time, and you see defenders go straight to the ground trying to protect their necks.
re: 10 point lead at half on the road and JJ starts the 2nd half? uh...no one has

Why are there so many immature people on this board..?
Because you're more likely to be banned from this board if you hold an opinion that is not popular than you are for repeatedly breaking board rules and personally attacking other posters for their differences in opinion.
I didn't understand it either, but that's only because I think the best QB on our team is 3rd string. Of course, I could be wrong - because our coach clearly has enough confidence in the 'back up' to leave him in on 3rd and 5.

Dude you are a joke. Nobody is buying into your trolling attempts.
Look at the drive summaries and stats. Then go look in the mirror and try to convince yourself that you are important.

Not looking too bad versus a team that killed Auburn and FSU.

You're talking about his performance versus a tired out Tenn defense with no morale. The first half of that game had many people scratching their heads at Les Miles decision to put JJ in the game with the terrible results he was getting. There are two halfs to a football game, and all i can say is that JJ played better than I expected during 1 drive and about as expected for the rest of the game.

Is there a great # of LSU fans who have stopped buying tickets or stopped supporting the team in other ways cause of this action by the team? no...it had no effect save to have them stick together
No. I hope this does not lead to that either. My concern isn't even with LSU football at this point. My concern is with how I know many fans will perceive this whole ordeal. This situation could end up dividing fans and students along racial lines. Seeing that it is 2011, that is my biggest fear. I doubt that many people on here do not see the racial biases coming out to play in this situation, and i said biases as in plural, because all sides are guilty.

He's probably not a real man then. Lord knows, you're not worth a damn unless you go get in a bar fight instead of showing some self-control and maturity.

Agreed Doc, but there's a 9 page thread based off the assertions i addressed in this thread.

I'd like to take this time to refer people to my other thread. You know, the one that enlightens people to the fact that Jarrett Lee accounted for 1/3 of those passing yards last year. So, if you're making a qb comparison, please compare a real number of about 360 to 300 ypg. Thanks.
I was just trying to engage in some objective debate - but I see emotions prevent people from participating in such things when they are made aware of something they aren't happy about.
Can you point out to me another time in which someone was comparing last years offensive production to this years, when making a QB comparison, that they acknowledged that many of those yards from last year that they were using as part of their PRO JJ argument were indeed gained by Jarrett Lee?

The number writing was a show of support and solidarity, at what was going on with JJ and the police.
If Jordan Jefferson plea bargains after the season, or is found guilty, will you continue to believe that the players should have been supporting him publicly? Also, why wasn't Josh Johns number on their arms?
Please read - Clarification for those using 2010 versus 2011 offensive statistic

1. LSU averaged 160ish yards passing per game last year. This is TRUE but Jarrett Lee accounted for 50 of those YPG. Jordan Jefferson accounted for 108 yards per game.
2. Statistics involving last 5 games versus first 5 games of this year: I think this is a good argument, but please don't omit completion percentage when talking about improvement. Also, there were more home games in the last 5 games than the first 5 games this year. That MIGHT greatly impact a qbs stats.
3. Team yards per game - keep in mind, once again that JL was at the helm as well as JJ during many drives while the team acquired yards.

re: Please state your reason on why Miles shouldn't have put JJ in.

Because any QB in the country is capable of running a qb sneak and it's quite embarrasing that Miles seems to think Lee couldn't have gotten the last inch of his 70 yard drive.

If not for the players, they wouldn't have one more way to spend their money.
I can promise you that there are plenty of good players that would gladly keep their mouth shut if it meant they could play for LSU. Without these players now, we would have maybe a couple bad seasons before we were reloaded. I already stated that booing is bad -- but these players aren't more important than the university, or the fans. These fans have been watching LSU and spending entire paychecks on LSU football tickets/ tailgating/ etc for years.
Josh Johns never stepped on the field - during regulation.
