Why?

Why USL? Why not Tulane? Why not Nichols? Why not southeastern? Why not la tech?

What is the benefit of playing USL?

Well, they are competitive and it's fun to beat them. So there is a benefit there.

No, they're only "good" every 10-15 years.

That was the most intense game all year. It could be something with the coaching hate. It's fun and we shouldn't be the oussies that say shite like it doesn't do anything for us.

I don't understand why anyone wouldn't want to beat that coach yearly

Yeah, I mean, from a crowd standpoint, that was the loudest and most energetic the PMAC sounded all year (and I'm sure their fans helped contribute to that too). But LSU needs some games like that to keep people coming to basketball games due to good atmospheres. With the studs coming in next year though, the crowds will be much bigger and things will get interesting.

I agree. It's a fun game. Really When they play in any sport. We usually win, and there's always a little smack

Our 10th-seeded SEC team just beat their unicorn regular-season Sun Belt champ team. Once Wade gets his guys in place, and USL sinks back to their normal place, there is no fun to beating them nor is there a benefit.

Besides why pay them to come here for a game after all the shite-talking Marlin did all week? Why help their program. I'd rather give that rent-a-win money to another state school. We never seem to have any trouble with ULM. Play them instead.

Simply by geographical distance, it would make sense to play them more. It’s so close the team drove in cars

Why? What does LSU get out of it? Why televise them and that BS “Louisiana” across their chest?

They can stay in their class.

Much like their baseball team 15-20 years ago, usl has proven the stage is too big for them and they cannot keep composure.

I’d put them on ice a while longer.

I would love to whip his a$$ in his superior gymnasium on his own court. That would be fun.

We can play them post season every other decade when they’re worthy.
Let them glow in all their sunbelt glory.

F that. I'd blackball em in all sports. And enjoy listening to them melt about it. Bunch of mosquitos buzzing around the Tiger thinking they are the Tiger.

To turn it around on Coach Bob Marlin: I don’t think that’s a game they want to play.

Exactly. Why throw them a bone?
