The ball was snapped at 1 second, then spiked at 1 second, and review gives them second back.

How TF is there a play that takes no time off the clock?

I realize clock was at 1 on the initial spike, but still that's a play that took no time off the clock.

Time still exists while the game clock shows 1 second. Can you do something within one second?

I realize that and agree when it initially hits ground it was one second. But damn man the play started with 1 second.

It was a quick spike, no doubt.

I'm actually surprised they went for the spike there, but truth be told, I thought he got the ball OOB on that play anyway. I was surprised they kept the clock running.

I was more upset about the 4th and 17 or whatever it was. I thought he was short. They didn't review or measure it.

It has come out that the yellow line on the telecast was incorrect. The receiver had the first down easily.

You realize the clock reads 1 after it goes under two and it could be anywhere from 1.9 sec down to 1.0

That's what I'm complaining about and never seen before, its a play that takes no time off the clock.

At a complete minimum it should take a second off the clock since its still a play.

Read this article from 2009 (exactly 9 years ago) and tell me that it does not bring flashbacks to the same play situation. Obviously, it didn't work on LSU's favor on both games. I find this incredible as I type this.

LINK

"Thinking there was time for just one more play, LSU called for a Hail Mary, and when Jefferson's pass was caught by wide receiver Terrance Toliver at the Ole Miss 5-yard line, the rudderless Tigers appeared to have no plan in place and spiked the ball in an attempt to stop the clock before time expired.

"I had lost that opportunity for my team by squandering seconds," Miles said Monday. "I let the clock get away from me; it was my fault, my mistake."

I think you’re backwards there. In this theory when it reads 0 there’s actually 0.9 seconds left? Makes no sense. When it reads 1 second there 1 second left, not almost 2. If you’re right, Miles would’ve won the Auburn game in 2016.

This is not basketball. There should be no fractions of a second in NCAAF.

Check out 1:23 in regulations. Two plays were run and the clock showed 1:23 for each of them.

Yeah well it’s also “come out” that Faulk started the fight. But we know better than that

Wasnt that similar to the Auburn game in 16.

LSU snapped the ball and scored the game winning TD but after review they said there was 1 second on the clock and it wasnt possible to get a snap off in 1 second?
