Both QBs have their limitations. LSU moved the ball on big plays last night like others have said.
LSU had 205 yards in the first half. LSU had 14 points against WKU in the first half with less than 10 minutes time of possession.
Part of that was the fumble, but LSU's defense forced a 3 and out following that play.
JJ started well and got worse as the game went on:
6-8 then finished 2-6. He also got some of the most open playcalling we've seen all season. It's like Les and company were trying to force the big pass consistently.
That said, the running game eventually got going.
LSU had given up 8 sacks all season prior to this game and JJ gave up 2 and the safety against our second weakest opponent of the season to date.
Again, both players have their issues, but no one knows who is going to start next week. If JJ starts next week, then people can make an issue about it.
Maybe Les just wanted to reward JJ for his play in the Bama game. If that is the case, then I am fine with it.

It is not the anger towards Jefferson, it is the injustice to Lee. This guy started 9 games and we are undefeated yet Lee doesn't get to start the 10th, something isn't right. If Jefferson fails in the future you need Lee to come in and play with confidence. I think Lee's confidence isn't very good right now. Lee should have started tonight, if Miles wanted to put Jefferson in later so be it. Miles has made a statement..Jefferson is the starter.
+1

JJ threw 4td passes 17INT's in regular season play last season.
Why do people feel the need to make up JJ's stat line? He was 7/10 TD/INT last season. Take out the Cotton Bowl (and why would you?), and it's 4/9.
Still not good at all, which makes lying about his numbers even more staggering. There's no need to exaggerate.

Along with JL. I dare you to disagree....

TheDoc, you are showing your arse here. Baloo is completely correct.
He was 4/9 in the regular season. He was 3/1 in the cotton bowl after he threw his customary 1st 2 drive INT in that game.

through 9 games wins this year, what exactly leads you to believe JL is a terrible qb?
Two bad throws vs alabama > rest of the season.
Gotcha.

er is good. Lee people need to stop talking like his last name is Brees Manning or Brady. They are, however both good enough to win with this team.
Is it possible to stop referring to people who share an opinion on this board as a JJ or a Lee person as if this were politics, and you're either a Democrat or Republican? As in politics where there are independents, libertarians, undecided voters, and middle of the roaders, maybe in LSU football, there are fans who just size things up by what they think is right and wrong, irrespective of party affiliation to JJ and Lee. Seriously.

JJ and Lee are on the same level as QBs.

All these butthurt Lee fans need to get over it and become LSU fans

No, JJ got credit for tenn and fla last yr, so JL gets credit for bama.
See how that works?

You are showing how butt hurt you are about JJ. I thought you supported both qb's?
Everyone knew that was bullshite.

He also threw an int against a competent defense in moo st. His numbers aren't impressive. He isn't terrible nor is JJ, they are both average but experience is key and JJ's legs gives him the nod. But continue to argue the averageness of your idol, its quite entertaining.

Because he is not that good. Neither is JL. Thankfully this will all be over soon.

Not on this site

Not saying I agree with JJ getting more snaps over Jl but I did call it.

Because as a QB, he can't throw ?
