What the frick are you trying to say then? If we pitch Coleman, I'm sure he still give s up a couple runs. We didn't hit the ball. We still lose. YOU ARE frickING STUPID.

He took him out when the time was needed. I don't understand what you're trying to say. We can't go to the bullpen early, its a tournament.

Ross gave up four runs in 6+ innings, not great, but not terrible. We lose with Coleman or AR on the mound anyway, our offense against LHP is, well, just not that good.

Ross pitched well enough to win.One run will not win you many games at the collegiate level.Vandy was better tonight, tommorrow the Tigers will be the better team.

Did you see Mainieri's face in the 9th inning? He looked like he wanted to beat the shite out of someone. He cared!!

He actually looked like that for the entire game. Something tells me he saw this coming.

this tournament has a totally different meaning for us this year. we don't have to win it like last year to get a top 8 seed.

Spell Our coach's name the right damn way and you won't appear as much of a butt clown. Half these people were ready to cuss you without even reading what you put into your post.

You've been here since '04 (could be an alter)...when LSU loses a game - in any sport - people are sensitive and don't want to read an armchair qb/baseball coach dissect what went wrong (or in this case the irrelevance) or what could have been done. You obviously knew nails would be spit at you by creating this post.

To say our coach doesn't care is foolish. I am not certain I have seen another coach that appears to care more. Perhaps you would rather Smoke return and sit in the dugout and never move. Don't say such things.

that doesn't mean PM is intentionally trying to lose... You saw him light Hanover's arse when he messed up. How the frick can you say PM doesn't care about this game/tournament?

Pitching Ross didn't show that they didn't care about this game or the tourny it self. (Ross pitched pretty damn good considering how he had been pitching) But the overall lack-luster attitude of the team and lack of emotion even when the Vandy 1st baseman kept slamming the ball down and the pitcher had made the comments he made before the game about Ross. If they think they can just wait and really play ball when the games get more important, then guess what they ain't gonna make it!!

im not saying it's ross's fault. im saying the team did not take the game seriously bc they took a cue from the coach by who he pitched tonight.

No kidding, I mean...who the frick is this Ross cat?

Oh wait, he was only the Sunday starter for the better part of SEC play.

Dumbass.

when regionals come around I suppose none of the top seeds will care because #3 and #4 starters will be pitching the first games.

Ross pitched the game of his life 2 runs through 6 i believe Austin did his part. As far as the rest, think what you want but I'm sure you don't go to many games. LSU can lose believe it or not. They are good and at times great. Its however baseball got to love it.

While I disagree with the OP., I do have to say this staement might be just as retarded.

You win the first few games so you don't have to go into the losers bracket.

Top seed v. bottom seed = top seed's #3 or #4 pitcher

Ross did his job. The hitters did not. Do you know anything about baseball?
