How as an LSU organization do you recruit pitchers that cannot hit their spots or even throw strikes…. These guys are throwing meatballs down the middle of the plate when they call an outside pitch. It is awful. Pitching as a whole is god awful

Noski doing work! Looks like every pitcher from last year regressed.

That’s why I didn't understand the hire of Nate Yeskie. He was terrible during his stint at Arizona with CJJ.

I think he’s a one and done here…doesn’t help that our hitting has regressed.

Pat Casey, schloss, and Jay all seem to respect him so can’t blame anyone liking the hire ar the time. Whatever his method of coaching is has become completely obsolete at this point holy hell. Maybe pat casey carried yeskie

I’d argue that to be the case. Before Johnson Casey would’ve been the next best option.

I’m in no means off my support of CJJ but I hope there is a strategy in place to fix pitching.

The camp/travel ball mentality. It’s all about which kids can get up there and light up the radar gun. No consideration for movement, control, baseball. IQ, etc. If you can throw 97 you get to pitch for LSU, no questions asked

Well CJJ basically just said in his post game presser that outside of Herring he basically has no one in the pen and that he is very surprised by that.

We fricked

Sadly, he’s right - who else is dependable? Maybe Ack, except when’s he’s not… No one has picked up where they left off and improved except Herring (excluding Holman and Jump since they weren’t here last year.). I don’t trust them either! Do we have any freshmen?!

Ack and Little are the same pitcher. One good strike out, one base on Balls, one homer per inning and hope the defense come through for the other 2 outs. See you back next inning for the same thing. Yet other pitchers only see one batter. I don’t get it.
I know their HR/innings is high, but I’d love to see the stats on their HRs given up on a 1-2 count.
