If we win against UCLA (99.9999999% that Nola will pitch game 1), who would you pitch in game 2? I hope it's Glenn. Eades makes me a nervous wreck!

Was Vandy expected to lose? How about Fl. State? At this point, any of teams can win it all, they are riding the wave- you pitch your best and go for that first game win at all costs!

I figure Nola will open and hopefully go the entire game. This gives all our other guys not only extra rest due to him going the entire game. But also UCLA was the only other team to punch a ticket to Omaha in 2 games. We beat UCLA first, these other guys have been going deep into all their bullpens. That gives us some extra rest.

Can't imagine lsu being the only sec team to make. Either one of USCe or state will make it. That would just be weird if we were the only ones.

The amateur OP is an idiot. The CWS is an all out war. Strike first and win and win again, then (if they follow the same format as years past) we take a few days break and we are ready to go straight into game 3 and then the CS......

Besides the obvious, the main other reason to pitch Nola on Saturday is to give him the opportunity to pitch 3 times in Omaha on an optimum amount of rest if things go right.
