The replay appeared to show he was outside the tackles...I assume this holds true for end zone as well as on field.

a dubious intentional grounding killed an LSU drive that would've been in FG range.

This was most egregious as it appears Etling was hit causing the ball to sail off from intended target crossing over the middle. The holding on Hurt's score was even worse.

But with no push off of our offensive line and no pass game, it's hard to argue support for a win. Then again who knows had those calls been made correctly????

What???? Sorry you have to blame the refs when clearly Bama outplayed LSU on the defensive side of the ball.... We must have not been watching the same game.... Dipshit.... Go play in traffic....

Was the replay clear on the int of DE? Didnt show it in the stadium, so I assumed it was probably inconclusive. he just wondering.

I couldn't see the ball on either angle. I hate the gumps and the SEC replay officials but it was inconclusive.

Fact is, holds sprung Hurts free for that TD. BS penalty extended Bamas scoring drive. BS offsetting penalties and a dubious intentional grounding killed an LSU drive that would've been in FG range. And no one yet has explained why LSU didn't get a safety when Hurts intentionally grounded the ball from his end zone

Agreed on all of the above. Furthermore:

FACT: Neither team had any offensive stats or success until the 4th quarter when Bama had two long drives aided by penalties.

FACT: Devin White was called for unsportsmanlike penalty on a "late" "hit" when he barely touched Hurts as Hurts had just jogged to the left to get out of bounds down the sideline - this was on a third and long if memory is correct.

FACT: Bama scores a TD on a 30 yard run by Hurts when there are at least 2 holds of our Dline - one of which (on Neal) sprung Hurts and lost contain - no flag.

FACT: Bama's Foster late hits Etling with a blow to the head while he was sliding feet first - no flag. Foster could have been ejected from the game or at the least had an unsportsmanlike penalty which would have meant an ejection on the second one on LSU's bench (not certain of the rule here), not to mention the loss of their "stud" LB'er.

FACT: LSU was taken out of scoring opportunities and Bama was put in scoring opportunities because of the above.

OPINION: LSU fans should bend over and take it because it is manly to submit and who are we to question refs' calls in the manly man's game with big bad Bama.

OPINION: Bama's success rate in conference is greatly skewed because of the biased officiating it continues to receive in conference games.

OPINION: Bama is the best team in college football and we should be proud we played them to a zero to zero score going in to the fourth quarter and any bitching about ref calls is unacceptable because we're too manly.

OPINION: If LSU had received the calls and non calls at critical times, we'd have found a way to win the game.

So YOU want the refs to help LSU win games???? Looks like it.... Is it the REFS fault that LSU ONLY got 125 total yards???? NO... Is it he refs fault that as great as the LSU D played that they gave up 323 yards???? NO.... GROW UP... The better team won last night... PLUS....IF LSU had won 10-0 and the TD was because of A non holding call, YOU would say it was a legit non call.....

The correct way to hold and not be flagged is a technique thought to players...Alabama does a great job at this

Look at the body positions of all three bama players...body position up close and arms/hands inside tight

Its harder for a ref to throw a flag with this technique...think about it...when there is a gap between players and arms are extended the refs will have the yellow hankie in the air

They do this every single play and are hardly ever called for it. If I were the LSU coach, I'd put together a highlight reel with all of these plays and demand to meet with SEC officials and conference admin and roll the tape. I'd ask for clarity about what the rules actually are, because if they are going to do this and get away with it, then we are too.

That's factual evidence of 3 penalties on the only TD of the game but nah. Bama's just better and we are poor sports and roll tide and shite.

Are you saying that the LSU offensive line NEVER holds and gets away with it????? Please elaborate on this. I saw plays last night where the LSzu o line were holding and there was no flag thrown... But I guess it's OK if LSU gets away with it right???? Is that what you are saying?????

Yeah they held, but you can't win unless you score.

Alabama had 4 drives into LSU territory. It took a series of penalties on UA, a missed mid range FG, and big plays by LSU to not make this a 20 point win.

If you hit the QB two+ feet out of bounds, you're going to get called on it.

The hit started before the slide, he didn't go for a kill shot, and he didn't hit him with on on the head. That's not going to be called in college as targeting.

There wasn't any egregious hold on the play when you watch it in real time. You can screen cap just about every play in the game and make a case for holding somewhere.

He hit a sliding QB in the back of the head. C'mon now.

Just own the shite. Just say we're Bama and we get calls and move on.
