I hated him at first, for our refusal to throw anything downfield. Then I realized it was 100% on Jayden, and not him... I'd still like to see more jet sweep action to utilize our speed and more quick WR screens as an extension of the running game. I think both would help us against the "rush 3, drop 8" zone we saw towards the end of the year when everyone realized Jayden was never going to throw over the top or into tight zones.

Arkansas and A&M games felt like huge steps backwards, but not placing that solely on Mike. He definitely improved our offense as the season went on.

Tommy Rees on that list

Has to be only because he's at Bama

PFF is constantly a joke with how they rank or grade anything.

PFF, or Pro Football Focus, is indeed a joke in anything pro football related. When they delve into college football, they are throwing drunken darts in the dark.

Will be interesting to see how much the philosophy changes after Jayden is gone and Nuss has the keys.

Hopefully not much. I'd like to see a coordinator that can adapt his offense to whoever takes snaps, not one who has to change the entire philosophy for every QB.

Looking forward to seeing Jayden Daniels development with a full offseason with BK, Denbrock, and Sloan.

That's something to remember. I didn't have any big problems w/ Coach Denbrock last year, but I don't think we gave Coach Sloan enough credit for Daniels' good play. Usually the OC is also the QB coach. But Denbrock came into coaching through the OL and is currently also the TE coach. Consequently, having a good QB coach is very important to Denbrock's system..
