Can somebody please tell me why Deion Smith isn't SEC freshman of the weak. I wonder who beat him out.

He'll get his accolades. Wouldn't worry about that. NFL is his future

Just think about Smith, Nabers, Thomas Jr, and Bech in Billy Napier’s offense.. with Walker Howard at QB.. one can dream

Hopefully we are smart enough to keep them on the field, and the freshmen rbs also.

This is what beat him out. Our PR needs to get better. Why was Dieon overlooked for this?

FRESHMAN
Adonais Mitchell, WR, Georgia

Mitchell posted career highs of four catches for a team-high 77 yards and his first career touchdown during the victory over the Gamecocks
He hauled in a career-long 38 yarder for a score from JT Daniels to give the Bulldogs a 21-6 edge in the second quarter
Mitchell's other three catches went for first downs, including two on third-and-long situations

That juke by Smith reminded me of what Jefferson did to clemson's safety

It was an sec matchup. I'd imagine that weighs into these decisions.

Hopefully he brings LSU as much accolades and happiness as JJ did and contributed to. This kid is silky smooth running with some strong hands. I'm looking forward to watching his career in the P&G unfold.

I'd take a bet on Walker Howard starting before his junior year here.

I like Napier, but his offenses don’t appear elite. Am I missing something?
