That’s ridiculous. Aeron is so fricking far from an SEC punter it isn’t even funny. He’s not an SEC talent level PK either…

That’s amazing. I lived with 2 vet school students behind the Chimes for a couple of years….they went on to have amazing careers. That is a VERY good professional license to have.

Total yips

Really good athlete and when he catches a punt it goes a mile, but got hurt and got the yips.

To be fair, no one would still be coaching if they’d single handily picked Dibert, Ramos, and Burrell as their PK scholarships in the SEC. Be OK for Houston though.

I’m alright with LSU not giving a shite about special teams, I like the arrogance. Let’s kick their asses with touchdowns.

ST teams has been a mess since Kelly got here bad FG kicking & punting has cost LSU 1-2 Games a year.
How many blocked FGs, missed PATs and can’t kick past 45yds that’s sad as HS kickers are drilling 50yders.
The punting has killed field position and never flips the field in LSU’s favor. Even the kid from Tech transfer Punter last year was below average….ST Teams have been a D at best. Hope this new AT Coach is good.

His son is a kicker - I believe for Arkansas. I don’t know him at all, but he has always seemed like a good dude and knowledgeable about kicking. He has recently shown some sour grapes towards LSU and how they handle special teams players.

I think you can connect the dots here

Ramos finished with a better FGM % than kickers from Tenn, SC, Mizz, Texas, and Auburn. And had a better XPM % than Vandy, UK, Ole Miss, Miss St, and Mizz. You're smarter than all of those coaching staffs too, huh bud?Oh and Burrell led the SEC in touchbacks and was 6th nationally.

I went to LSU for 8 years, wife graduated from there as well…of course I would have loved to see my boy in P&G…but with that staff and kicker room we didn’t even consider it.

We visited 5 SEC schools and he got scholarship offers from 3. Broke the state FG distance record this year, edging the UGA kicker’s record in Louisiana by a yard. He’ll be coached by the best hands on specialist coach in the SEC, have a redshirt freshman year behind a top 2-3 in the SEC kicker, and have better facilities than LSU…and hell…his first road game this year is to Tiger Stadium.

Burrell is a badass KOS, no question. His touchdown saving tackle last year was off the charts. Unreal. He’s got that position on lock until he graduates.

Definitely had that in the CD sleeve that fit over my car’s sun visor.

ETA: feel like I went from grunge to Phish, 1992ish, but there was likely something in between.
