We all believe that our defense under Peveto failed to come anywhere close to the level we expect and that a change was needed. It looks like its going to happen now. We can be happy about it without calling the man a "cancer" or saying things like "f*** you Peveto." He is moving on and we should show some class as a fan base. He was part of a staff that brought us a BCS Championship and he has a family.

+1 cmon guys lets show a little class. I know that's hard for some of you that like to boo a young QB or leave after the first quarter, but its really not hard once you give it a try.

I wish peveto luck in his new job, sorry his gig here didn't work out better but it is time for a change on D after last year. I'm celebrating a needed change on our D.

about 65% of this post is disgraceful. Peveto may not have been the co-defensive coordinator we hoped he would be. Just like having 2 qb's in the pros, if you got 2, then you got none, and co-defensive coordinators was doomed from the start. Peveto just want the right fit for that job.
I'd like to opportunity to boo all of you hateful rantards when you have a less than stellar day at your job.
Show some class or fake it and wish this guy success at Northwestern La, and send along thanks for his efforts at OUR school, LSU.

That's my feeling, I'm glad our now former guy(s) are getting other jobs, because they WERE a part of that win last year, so they can do SOMETHING right, I just don't think the co-DCs were their best positions. Good luck to Peveto at NSU and

why?

he was part of the demise of the defense this year.

why would I thank him for that?

Look around the nation this year and the past few, can anyone recall another coaching change that was handled any better.

There are no losers in the way Miles handled the change. Miles gave Peveto and Mallory a chance to leave with dignity. Mallory, if he does take the DC position, is leaving to work with a long time friend, and Peveto is leaving to take a head coaching Position that he has past ties to.

They may be taking a pretty good paycut, but thay are leaving with dignity. Only the inner staff knows exactly what was told, but i could imagine Miles told them to look for other positions elesware, and gave them till after the bowl game to finalize it. In the mean time i would expect miles has been in talks with a number of possible replacements....

The rant lacks patience....

Your post speaks for itself. Such a man for calling a coach an idiot, or idoit, or whatever you called him. Nice work.

It does not matter if I am politically correct or spelled idiot correct you post does not answer my question. Wanna try? What makes us think Miles will hire anyone better?

to all yall ignorant coonasses congrats, but he was never fired. I feel good for the guy that he never has to coach at a place that is full of so many illiterate idiots like southern LA. again. I'm sure the next DC will do much better and win the NC next year since the offense will dominate with a great OC and QB.
