Can somebody please tell me what Brennan has proven to have people thinking he’s this run away sure fire stud QB? He’s going into his 4th year and to this point has shown very little. How can people say “Parrish isn’t an SEC QB” after 1 redshirt season but then think Brennan is definitely a championship caliber QB. I don’t get it.

Should’ve took a grad transfer QB when there were good ones available that could’ve came in and won the job.

Because everyone that has watched Brennan is saying similar things that they said about Burrow.
Plus, Brennan set records in high school. Brennan has the measurables to be a really good QB.
But the main reason people have more confidence in Brennan over Parrish is because of exactly what you said in your post. Brennan will be in his 4th year at LSU. Two of those years were spent behind LSU’s greatest QB (and arguably greatest player) of all time. He’s a smart kid. He watched, he listened, he learned.

Dude needs to get in shape. He seems raw. But. He has huge arm and a very natural throwing motion and seems like there's a lot to work with there.

No other player has had more records or won as many awards as Joe. He should have a statue in front of the stadium. No other player has done as much as he has and he has become the symbol of what an LSU Football Player can be. He is the greatest college quarterback to ever play the game.

Burrow definitely is a great qb . Billy Cannon played offense and defense and threw the shot put for track team . Also had sprinter type 100 yard speed and could have qualified for Olympic team .

Let me put your Miles Brennan fears you rest. Some of us actually follow football a little bit more than just watching LSU games. He was a 4 star recruit that finished one slot behind Tua in evaluations at camps, broke about every Brett Farve record in high school and he has pro ready arm and is good decision maker. He may not be Joe Burrow Jr, but he better skill set that 90% of LSU starting QBS over last 20 years.
He isn’t big muscular guy and there is concern is he may get hurt when 350 pound lineman pounces on him. But otherwise we are good here. Hint: Worry more about linebackers depth at dbs.

They were talking about this on the radio yesterday. The only problem is that any QB worth a shite in the portal is not going to want to come to LSU and be a backup. They're in the portal likely because they want to play and LSU's selling point would be "Hey, come to LSU and be the second string QB." Tough sell.
So we better hope Johnson or Finley prove themselves enough to be a legit #2 in an emergency.

Actually, Parrish was a 4 star rated QB coming out of high school and Finley was a 3 star coming out of high school.
Meanwhile, how do you know Parrish isn't an SEC quality QB?
Cause I've heard from two different insiders and one said he is better than expected and the other one says he isn't an SEC QB.
Although I find it hard to believe one can ascertain that after only one season in the system unless the dude is just really, really bad.
I don't recall seeing anything that looked to be bad in his senior season video other than he played for a primarily running team.

If I recall correctly, he looked good in the Alabama/Mississippi All-Star Game.
He was also the most valuable player of the Polynesian Bowl.
