Interviewed on WWL 870. Said talent wise LSU and Bama’s starting 22 are equal overall. LSU separates itself with maturity on the line of scrimmage. That is the LSU edge according to Pete Jenkins.

Also said that LSU had an edge last year because BAMA lacked DL depth. Didn't mention that Quinnen Williams was a man child.

Passing game scheme has helped immensely here. Shorter routes, getting ball out of WB hands much quicker.

Besides the ridiculous playaction from our own goal line, we had mostly quick passes last year against bama, which were either broken up, dropped, or batted at the line (I counted 4, I believe)

But don't let that distract you from the rant narrative that we only had long developing max protect plays

Dline isn’t an edge IMO....Bama is better than LSU, but not as talented as they usually are...Whoever gets their hands up and blocks some of the slants, will be more effective.

Line of scrimmage has been the problem for years. Now we have a scheme and an elite QB that should neutralize that disadvantage

Burrow played the game with a separated shoulder.
