This is as close to what I think as I've seen in this thread. I'm at about 45% on Stanfield, 75% on Cowan, 100% on Sheerin.

Shores will get enough $ to sign, 10% he returns
Stanfield probably has a 50/50 shot of coming back if he wants
Dickinson is going pro 100%
Cowan probably returns to try and win a starting spot, I'll go 60% returns
Sheerin will be back, he's not draft eligible 100%

I think boosting draft stock is confused with boosting contract value. You can boost your draft stock and get picked much higher, but if you have no leverage, chances are you get a lower contract for a higher draft position or you may have maxed out your contract value even though you could get picked higher the next year.

That's part of it.

But also I think people are overestimating needing to see someone competently play corner outfield defense.

They've seen Frey hit, and they've seen him run. There is nothing that standing out in left field for 60 college games will tell them that they can't infer from watching him run around the bases.

I don't think it would happen, but I'd be ecstatic if he did.

Shores is the only one with a possibility of coming back, and that all depends on how early he gets drafted. He redshirted last year so he still has leverage and could still use another year as a starter and get his command improved.

Shores is more than likely gone. Teams will know his number. Don’t be surprised if he is a 2nd rd pick. You can’t teach 6’8” 101 velocity
