Or did it already happen before the game which was why he was sore and we pitched him not knowing it?
LOL. You know not of what you speak...
Stick to football.

Fcuk. But he'll be fine.

I'm absolutely shocked at the free pass people are giving pm for pitching a freshman who was experiencing elbow soreness three days before. Absolutely baffling

And the BOOM has been dropped. Nice work Ell.

You say you can't trust Walkers reports of pain versus no pain.
He threw well, he said he had no pain.
98% of arm pain resolves itself, it is a common occurrence. Your desire to sit every pitcher that has a sore arm and MRI that would result in about 100 unnecessary scans per year

Got exposed on your other account so decided to jump back on this one huh?

He's a freshman throwing more pitches and more innings than ever in his life and complains of elbow soreness. If it walks like a duck quacks like a duck it's probably a duck

Do you think rest would have helped his arm when it would have popped in fall ball instead? I'll hang up again and listen

I'm glad you came around.

It may have or it may have healed. Low grade ucl sprains can be treated without surgery

no, he said his forearm was tight. he said nothing of his elbow until after he pitched in Omaha. He had forearm tightness. He was sit then reevaluated in three days by team doctors and the LSU training staff. Walker said he felt fine, the doctors didn't see any red flags, and he didn't show any signs of weakness. So with all of that Mainieri is supposed to order an MRI? So every time a player, in baseball mind you, has a sore arm, an MRI should happen? Do you realize how absurd that is. Not to mention, as a freaking doctor has posted in this thread, nothing the way Walker's arm situation was handled was mismanaged by anyone, from the doctors, to the training staff, to the coaching staff. Injuries happen. It's part of the game. Trying to point fingers at Mainieri because you don't like him does nothing more than make you look stupid.

Yes. Low grade ones can. They certainly don't resolve by continuing to throw on said elbow.

Do you actually follow LSU baseball? He experienced the discomfort on the Tuesday before game 1 before the team had even left for Omaha and PM pitched him the following Monday a few days after he had thrown a bullpen and felt no discomfort.

and you think 25 pitches in the CWS was the difference in him needing TJ and not needing it
If he was sat in Omaha he would have figured out he was hurt in summer ball or fall ball. He didn't suffer this type of injury in a matter of a couple weeks. He suffered it over several years of use. he didn't graduate a minor UCL sprain to needing TJ surgery in 25 pitches no matter how much you hate Mainieri and want to blame him for it

Ok, great. So all pain that comes on, then resolves, involves the UCL, especially ones treated by a sports medicine team at a major university.

You can thank cpm for this and the cws loss. Had he pitched our two aces the first 2 games we are in the final series with 3 starters.
