Buyouts usually protect coaches more than anything. If anything, this is LSU friendly.

It's not odd when you realize idiot Joe Alleva is our AD. His career is the definition of failing upward.

Sure, but if he comes here and kicks arse for 2 years, it also makes it very easy for a program with more resources to throw a hefty contract at him without having to worry about chipping in for the buyout.

They may need to renogotiate mid season. WW might possibly be the greatest hire in LSU sports history.

I'm okay with no buyouts. No point in forcing coaches to stay if they want to be elsewhere. Schools with resources can afford the buyout.
I really wish our football coach didn't have a buyout, too.

Yea this is kind of important. It is essentially a buyout for 2.5 million for each year he would have remaining on his contract.
