Dennis Johnson has injured both legs playing basketball, and Kenechi Udeze will coach the Dline in fall camp. Terrible for Meatball, and I wish him a quick recovery.

We got very lucky picking up this other guy as an analyst this spring. He can fill in without us missing a beat.

Coach O just said the dline will be attacking more. More stunts instead of read and react. Good to see us going back to playing fast in the line of scrimmage.

Means DA is changing a little bit bc he has the read and react philosophy for DL

Well that certainly isn't good for recruiting.

How would that affect recruiting?

I'm getting the feeling that we are going to be unbelievably aggressive on D. It may cost us a few big plays, but we will load up on the tackles for loss, sacks, and turnovers. Maybe they have the confidence that the O can bail us out if we give up a score here and there.

Maybe he went up for a Shaq attack dunk and fell on both knees coming down shite I don’t know lol

I am glad to hear about using more four down linemen like the old days. I hope we can make a lot of big plays.

Unless we get a short-term waiver, Meatball is the only one of the D-Line group who can go out on the road and recruit, which will be hard if he's in a wheelchair. Lacouture, Udeze, etc. can't go out on the trail

yep but probably lead to more big plays for us...as long as the secondary is advertised.

Unless he’s getting both legs amputated, I can’t imagine he wouldn’t be back soon.

And yes, a waiver for this type situation would be easily attained

I agree. They seem to have gotten the waiver for Udeze to coach on the field pretty easily, so I imagine it would be similar to getting the recruiting waiver.

They got a waiver for on field coaching, I would assume they’ll get one for recruiting as well.

Does he not constantly travel to recruit players all over the country?

Is it a dead period I'm unaware of?

Actually a dead period is about to start or has started, also see above, there will likely be a waiver for another coach to go on the road
