I think We’ve at best made a lateral move.

Pretty much sums it up. He did what any decent coach should have done. And he did what any decent shouldn’t have done! Troy and Moo state never acceptable.

Zero will be gone soon enough. Our schedule was easy this year and the SEC was down as a whole.

Yep, especially when the expectation in getting rid of Miles was championship or bust.

0's got 2 more years to get to the playoffs. I hope he does, but I doubt it.

Frankly, all anyone needs to know is that other teams' fans really do love the that O is our coach.

That's always a good gauge. Truth be told, I wanted Les to stay too.

I think how we do in the bowl game, how he closes this recruiting class, and how we do against Miami to start next season, will go a long way.

He does well at all three, then many more start coming around. As the official Lsu head coach he would be 12-3, and overall would be 17-5.

Btw, remember when O haters didn't allow interim results? Now they are starting to want to include them. Hurts his %. LMAO

My thoughts on the Coach O hire are that I'm cautiously optimistic at this point. I like how he's recruiting along the offensive and defensive lines and I also liked the Matt Canada hire. If Coach O and staff finish strong with the 2018 recruiting class, as it currently looks like they might, I will be really looking forward to next season.

Assistants and remaining talent have served him well. Unfortunately, we won't get to see what he's really made of until after he's buried the program for a decade or so.

Losing 2 5 stars from under his nuts last year was not an inspiring start.

But, the idiots who insisted we hire him will be perfectly happy with "good enough" and have already written off ever beating Alabama again. And that's fine with them.

I still think he isn’t the right man for the job. I think we could have selected a younger more innovative HC. I don’t think we will be able to beat Alabama anytime in the near future and we all know, if a SEC West team cannot Alabama, they cannot win the SEC.

I thought the hiring process was abysmal. We fired our coach early, wound up hiring our DL coach. It was a bad search, and LSU looked foolish and uncoordinated.

I remember thinking after the Florida loss that the silver lining was that O was no longer in the running for head coach.

Then the Mississippi State and Troy losses happened. I began to wonder if both O and Alleva would survive the season.

But then O and the staff, as well as the team, turned things around. I began to think that hiring O wasn't such a bad thing after all.

I think the future is bright here. O seems to have a vision and he's working hard to bring it about.

So if you were successful, family oriented, highly educated, and positive, you'd kill yourself. Yes, you seem very emotionally stable.

You do realize don't you that everyone on here knows you don't like O. It isn't a big secret. I know you are an emotional little guy, but I was just curious why you think you mist repeat this at least 20-50 times daily?

Uh little buddy, I'm sorry my positive outlook upsets you. I am proud to be all those things, especially family.

Would it make you feel better if I said I hope they fire O's arse if Lsu goes 8-4 next year? Because that's how I feel. Until then, I'll give him a chance.

Ok. Your writing style obviously indicates a kid. Grow up son, learn some class, and quit acting like a little spoiled bitch.
