When I re-sell my tix, I always walk straight to the AD's office to get my 10% tithing.

I won't, if I find a ticket for the price I am willing to pay thats good and if I don't that's good too. Tailgating all day and watching the game around campus is fun too.

My buddy offered me his tickets for face. I felt bad declining bc I let him know that I was thinking about going. Really confident that I'll be able to get good seats the day of for under $25 (Probably get some for free).

I wouldn't pay face value for Vandy ticekts much less ULL....The only game you shoul dhave to pay face value or more for is UF.....unless we are both undefeated when Auburn rolls around.

Exactly. They want someone to give them ULL tickets for free, but will bitch if you want to sell Florida tickets for face value + tradition fund. I think the season ticket holders all paid face value for ULL, right?

If you find someone selling Florida tickets for this price let me know. I bet you can't find 1 person.

I really don't think this is the case at all. I think you might be trying to justify trying to sell your tickets to ULL for face.

I understand the concept of supply and demand. There will be a ton of available tickets for this game bc a)its ULL and b) its on TV. I have no problem at all with people trying to sell their UF tickets for high $$s. Its their ticket so they can do what they want.

This game (and Tulane, La Tech, Arkansas, maybe Auburn) should be taken as great opportunities for Tiger fans to see their team take the field for wayyyy less than normal prices. Yeah, the Florida game is going to kick you square in the wallet for all non-season ticket holders. But hey, if you go to all the games and pay prevailing market value (say $5 apiece for ULL), you will probably still come out ahead of your poor TAF-paying sucker...I mean season ticket holder to has to pony up full price for every game before the season starts! I'm not even talking about the interest you are saving by leaving your money in the bank for several months either!

Geaux Tigers!

Thats the point of confusion with people wanting face value.. Either people should sell ALL tickets at face value or use the idea of supply and demand to dictate the price for a ticket to ULL and FLA equally. If there is a huge demand for people to see ULL then by all means sell the ticket for what you can get. Same for FLA however if the supply is low then asking face value is a stupid mistake by the seller.

they had to pay face value so why not try and get that?

Dont forget season ticket holders also pay TAF fees for each seat. The ticket cost them more than face value. So face value isnt near the real cost of the ticket to the season ticket holder.

My in-laws have to miss the game for a wedding and they said someone is paying them face for their tickets - I laughed. I wouldn't ever ask anyone to pay face for this type of game - especially a friend. Last year we couldn't make the Troy game, we gave our tickets to a relative for Free.
The way I look at it, being that the season is always out of whack on games, some good, some great, some suck - and they all cost the same -basically I'm paying for the shitty games to have the right to go to the big game, so I'm not going to make my buddy pay for my right to see Florida when I give him my ticket for ULL

sold a pair for 60 each two days ago for ULL

as with all commodities, items are worth whatever someone is willing to pay for them.

Yeah. I usually give mine away for these sorts of games, and then listen to the trash bitch and moan about how I am ripping them off for asking more than face value to games like Florida.

The people complaining about selling tickets above MARKET VALUE (face value) for low demand games are the same broke D$CK MFs complaining about people selling tickets above face value for big games.
