Maybe I'm just getting old, but it seems like there is more people driving at night with their bright lights on than ever before.
Used to be you could give the approaching vehicle a little flash of your brights and they'd dim theirs. Apparently common courtesy is a thing of the past.

Completely with you.
It's why I hate driving at night. Especially on the interstate. Too many damn brights on when they shouldn't be.

I get flashed with my low beams on. I turn on hi beams to show them it was low beams and they still get mad and flash over and over

Some of it is the auto dim/bright. My truck sucks at this. I'll be behind someone on a dark road and I will be flashing them because the brake lights aren't bright enough for my sensors to always detect.

Or no lights on at all.

The new lights all look bright to me. You could aim sealed beam bulbs. These new lights not as much so.

LED lights are a nightmare for my astigmatism.

Its the new lights. They arent all using their brights.

Sorry baw. Put on my leveling kit but didn't have enough money to get my lights adjusted.

LED lights just look brighter in general
Plus so many baws lift and level their trucks which fricks with the angle of lights and shines it more towards oncoming traffic

Because its total fricking anarchy down here in the south.

Because your lights are fricked up and you need to fix them.

That's because they are. Newer lights are brighter than bright lights used to be.
If there's anything that could use one regulation, this would be it. Should be a maximum level of brightness for low beams, and it should be much lower than what the average new car has today.

See so many people in older cars that don’t have HID/LED headlights driving around with their brights on.
Or you can tell they have one headlight out so they just drive around with their brights on.
Then there’s the Carolina squatted little shits driving around with their shite pointed to the sky.
It’s all so dumb.

I'm talking about the people that when I flash my brights, they switch to low and then right back to high beams.
Happens almost every morning on the way to work on Hwy 42

I don’t get the people driving at night without their lights on esp in a fairly new vehicle that has an ‘auto’ feature that people for some reason refuse to use.

I don’t think I’ve ever turned on my brights on a public road. Dirt road in the woods yes but never on asphalt

LED lights are bright as frick and almost no one has them tilted correctly so they’re not shining right into head on traffic.
