Holding probably

Its seems like a smaller penalty super common and then it is a whole 10 yards

Uhhhh an offensive lineman holding can easily result in a touchdown for the offense.

The roughing the passer for just even grazing his helmet with your hand(s).

And if it gets called that TD gets called back. Whether it needs to be 5 or 10 yards is sort of the issue

There are very few penalties that can't result in a big play if not called.

Not all of them are 10 yard penalties.

Offensive lineman down field on a pass play.

LSU had several this year called (first play in the NCG) Twice in the game. Several that were not called.

I don't get how it happens that frequently. It seems like a useless penalty. I get holding but not this penalty.

delay of game after a timeout

I love CLM but he was notorious for this; totally inexcusable penalty

block in the back on kick returns. not that it's not needed, just frustrating when it's called against my team.

All penalties that occur during a play are either 10 or 15 yard penalties.

The only penalties that are 5 yards are infractions pre snap but they will allow the play to happen after some of those infractions happen pre snap.

It's not a penalty, but the worst rule in football is that when you fumble the ball in the field of play and it goes into and out of the end zone that other team is awarded the ball. Spot it at the 10, 20, or 5 yards behind where it was fumbled if you must, but the turnover is just wrong.

When a runner continues to play after his helmet is ripped off his head by a defender.

Seriously! If a guy wants to keep trying to pick up yardage after his helmet is ripped off, he should be allowed.

I hate that players get ejected for targeting on the first call. At least make it like unsportsmanlike conduct where you have to get 2 to get kicked out. Targeting is often inadvertent. Everything is happening so fast out there and offensive players sometimes accidentally move their heads into the line of fire. I just don’t think it should warrant an automatic ejection.

Roughing the QB. You can't even breathe on a QB these days without getting a penalty.

I hate the fact that a five yd penalty can off set a 15 yd...should mark off the difference.
