I watched a lot of summer league games especially the ones with former tigers. Josh was making great decisions with ball. I really hope he stays

KBW will certainly be offered a G-League contract, but the Pelicans now have their 15 regular roster spots and 2 two-way contracts filled.
Each team is only allowed 2 of these two-way contracts, which allows a player to be on the regular NBA roster for up to 45 days, and spend the rest of the season in the G-League. Players get paid according to the amount of time they spend on the regular NBA roster.
The idea is that if, say, Lonzo Ball were to get hurt, we could pull Josh Gray up from the G-League for awhile to the regular Pels roster. Or, if a guy really develops in the G-League, you can bring him up for a while and try him out without the risk of a full NBA contract -- you can try a guy out without paying him over a million dollars just to find out if he can play.

KBW looked good enough in the summer league that he might get a two-way contract offer from another team. If not, he'll likely sign a G-League contract and play there a year and try to get better and work his way onto an NBA roster the following year.
