CPM is not retiring unceremoniously after we bomb out of a regional. He is more competitive than that.
He MIGHT announce his retirement going into the 2020 season effective after the 2020 season.
My gut feeling is he will coach 2-3 more years then retire.

Why does everyone want to fire Paul or have him retire all of a sudden?
He is the reason all our pitchers are hurt, well, some of them aren’t hurt, they just hate him & faking
He tells the media XXX player is garbage
He sleeps in the dugout
He physically assaults players for celebrations

Sooner change comes in all sports, I think we'd all like to see Bianco back home if we could get him away from OM. Don't know what that situation would entail, but ultimately he'll be the man for the job. PM has been awesome for BaseB team, not a Skip but pretty darn good.

you may not like that we have a hitting coach that is mostly a recruiter but we still have him.
Nolan Cain isn’t the hitting coach.

OM fans would pay to get rid of Biancollapse
@kendallrogers do you think Ole Miss should look towards moving on from Mike Bianco if things don’t go well the rest of the season?
Kendall Rogers
Kendall Rogers Retweeted the whistler
1) They aren’t getting rid of Bianco and 2) I think you’d be shocked at how tough it would be to lure a front-line coach.
Replying to @SameReb
Wouldn’t OM likely triple Godwin’s current salary?
Kendall Rogers? @KendallRogers
Mississippi State was going to triple Godwin’s salary, too.

Source said Mainieri has had small conversations with Woodward regarding stepping down after this season IF the Tigers take an early exit from post-season play.

So much so that he took a mediocre team and took them all the way to the NC series two years ago. Incredible

I can't report back inside info that I'm told regarding LSU sports?
Damn dawg, my bad.

Bianco after almost surrendering an unfathomable lead in Game 3 against LSU is winless since that game after losing midweek games and getting swept by Miss St.
Bianco has been less successful than Laval in his tenure at Ole Miss - 1 CWS appearance would not cut it at LSU.

Yes you can but did your source say what PM will do if LSU makes it to Omaha? I guess those plans are out the window right? I mean it's just convenient info after what many consider a bad season.

My original post says he will step down "IF" they take an early exit this postseason.
If not? I think he will remain our HC

The OP pulled this right out of his arse. He doesnt have a source "high up in the TAF" he's got to be making this up. "lsudbuwhoareu" what does that even mean. This gotta be one of the most ignorant OP ive seen

People also seem to forget that 3 years ago he had the number one recruiting class in the country. So spare me with the he doesn’t have any talent or he can get better players at LSU. Bianco is a good coach but he wouldn’t do much better at LSU that he is currently doing at Ole Miss. he may would be able to get to Omaha more often.
