I agree it’s a pattern 100%. When patterns like this show, the problem is at the top. We all got excited when Mikes hired a new OC but we got the same shite pattern. It’s the HC. The players absolutely share in some of the blame.
And I also agree that it has now become a culture problem. Paul has always had his favorites, and maybe now everyone is getting the favorite treatment due to him being seemingly checked out.

I know you weren't. I'm just saying it's not a big deal to me when people disregard my posts. It's healthier than stalking me to other boards and bringing up baseball which happens from time to time.

For the people who are interested in rational discussion, your points must be dismissed because too often you are irrationally negative about situations. You basically have zero credibility. And, before you get your feelings hurt, I acknowledge that you do this on purpose.

Why not just say the truth "I didn't have the team focused and ready to play" and leave it at that. Yes the players have to man up and get the job done, but Paul there is a reason we don't just leave the players alone and put an adult in the dugout with them ... and pay that person million$.

These players are all motivated for one thing, to get drafted as high as they can and to make Omaha runs.
They don't sign with LSU not thinking of chasing that MLB dream at some point.
They want to compete at highest level and hope to eventually get drafted and get that shot.
I'm not buying they are not motivated.

I expect some to leave. Not mentioning names yet. Had a freshman pitcher leave this week. Honestly LSU needs a few to leave. Would make LSU better

I don't believe our players lack motivation, they may have lacked focus last night. CPM says you could "tell" they were not focused. It is his job to focus them. I had a high school football coach who would send us back to the locker room to put our street clothes back on and then put our pads back on, get back on the field and spend an hour doing tackling drills if we showed up at practice unfocused. Weren't a very good team ... but we could tackle :)
