TQ and Gray were a combined 4-13 from the field, 0-5 from 3, 3 of 5 FTs, 4 assts, 4 TOs.

Jayln was 2-2 from 3 on two nice shots.

Every time LSU tied the score or was in range, TQ or Gray goes on a solo mission. Those are your #1 and #2 PGs on the team.

He should really play goods minutes in every game. Despite his height, his length is disruptive and he drains 3s when the team seems to need it

Yep agreed. If both Tim and gray are off on the same night have jp in and Ben run the point more.

Agree. He hits 2 threes in first half and played well enough to play way more than he did especially with Quarterman playing his worst game since his freshman year

What people don't understand is that JP is not a point guard. He is not that good with the ball in his hands, and the coaching staff clearly doesn't like him in that role. Everyone wants to play him there because he's 6', but there is a reason he doesn't play there

Oh, I know.

I'm just saying when you have PG1 and PG2 playing so out of control, you have to do something.

I never said JP should play PG. It was a difficult game for CJJ when both of your 1 spots shite the bed. Play one, bench one, bench one, play one didn't help at all.

You get my point I'm sure.

I disagree with you Butt, I think JP could give you quality minutes at the point when we get bad Tim.

I wonder if JP isn't 100%. He barely played in the 2nd half.
Late in the game TQ singlehandedly lost this game with his poor play.

I had assumed Patterson must have gotten nicked up because he was buried for a long time (His wrist was taped up at the end, was it like that early in the game?). I especially see no reason why Sampson would have been playing over him late in the first half when we needed all the help we could get unless he had an injury.

I think it was for height reasoning, which I disagree with. Hornsby, Patterson, and Blakeney leave you pretty short out there

Johnny needs to put the ball in the hands of Simmons. You give it to your best player (especially when he can handle the ball) when you're in a dire straight to win games, yet he continues to let Quarterman and Gray herp derp and continue to herp derp possessions away.

Let Simmons determine if the team makes the tournament or not, not PGs that are struggling.

Gray is Captain Ballhog and always out of control. Very much reminds me of tack minor.

Gray is always out of control. I only remember seeing him have a few good games. I think any of the other guys would give us more

It just seems like we never say Patterson really hurt us last night. I personally think he should be starting

Gray attacks the rim better than anybody not named Ben Simmons on this team. Doesn't always mean that he is gonna do good things when he is there but i will take that over TQ just shooting a contested three with 20 seconds left on the shot clock.

My opinion you start TQ and usually whithin the first 5 minutes you can tell which TQ showed up for that game and you regulate his minutes from there. If he looks like bad TQ you give him less minutes and play Patterson with Benny running the point and out run the other team.

Gray turns the ball over dribbling through traffic more than any other college level player I can remember.

He also beats his man and make layups at the rim better than any of our other guards on this team.

And neither know how to get the ball to open player. Gray thinks he's playing in AND1 competitions all that behind the back, between the legs bullshite 40 feet away from the goal. TQ had several opportunities to get #4 and #2 the ball when they were wide arse open, but chose to drive into 3 defenders. These guys have no ideal on how to run an half court offense, and after 24 games I don't think we have a coach that knows either.
