The lack of production is well documented, but there’s potential the staff sees so whatever. This is a year where we would take Denver Harris again even knowing what we know now.

Most of it is sour grapes, but coming off a 2-10 season + a drop in production that’s expected.
I can imagine the staff pitching to PP that he’ll have a great surrounding cast to help elevate his draft stock. Especially if the Perkins returning rumors are true.

Patrick Payton has lots of potential to be a 1st round draft pick. I think he got lazy at FSU this year once he saw how bad they were.

Makes sense. I know squat about the player. He was highly regarded out of HS and even more highly regarded now. I love the players who supposedly move up from HS to when they transfer. That should mean he shows skill/improved in college. As you probably know, the vast majority get downgraded...quick examples we all know are Sage Ryan, Walker Howard, Womack, Rickie Collins, Kylin Jackson, Xavier Atkins, Jordan Allen, Sampson, etc, etc, etc. Hope you are correct!
