and inside the Luke, the sound of the starting gun was drowned out by the sonic BOOM as PP7 exploded from his stance

I heard he did it on crutches.

Julio's 2-3 inches taller and his arms are 1 3/4" longer. Same premise as the bench press: longer limbs can equal "detriment."
One of the NFL broadcasters earlier had some sort of comparison of a player running a low 4.4 running against someone running a 4.5. The player with the 4.5 had longer arms. Result: They got to the ball at the same time.
But both are pretty much inhumanely fast for their size, to the point of "how can it be???"

Didn't Matt Jones, who is 6'6" 240 lbs., run a 4.35 in the combine?

BFeldmanESPN? LSU's 219-pound CB Patrick Peterson runs an unofficial 4.32 40. SuperFreak.

Over short distances long limbs may be a detriment but as the distance increases, the advantage belongs to them.

Man, if Peterson was only 35 lbs lighter, he'd run faster than 0!

Does anyone else think that PP's ability against the run is being discounted. I think that is very important but doesn't get talked about much.

I don't know how moist your math is, but I think the Lucas Oil track is slow, once he gets to the LSU indoor facility, I assume his time will drop to about 1.32
