Is this the same Pat Forde that wrote Rick Pitino’s book for him? These guys are major major hypocrites. I’m sure he didn’t know anything about what a scumbag Pitino was when he wrote it in 2008.

Seeking the truth about a big story is all well and good, but this is getting to the point of a kind of bizarre fixation. The seeming laser-like focus on only LSU makes it feel just a bit disingenuous. Though, to be fair, I don't really keep track of if Forde is going after other programs because I don't give a shite. College hoops is a game where the relevant programs kind of have to flout the rules. We're just leveling the playing field. I'm not going to claim some kind of moral high ground about other teams compensating under-compensated kids playing a sport which makes unspeakable amounts of money for their institution and the NCAA.
