Wade was doing the things the big boys had been doing without having a seat at their table. It pissed them off.
He wasn't supposed to take Days from Florida. If Kentucky wanted smart, they were supposed to be able to pull him from Louisiana. Reid, Cam, Watford aren't players that are supposed to come to LSU. To get those players you have to be in "the club" and he isn't.

There was a female hack that wrote a clearly biased hit piece on LSU for Yahoo Sports. I think it was basketball related, but maybe not. It was either after Alleva was fired, or leading up to it. It made no sense when looking at her other articles, which were mostly about lacrosse. A little digging and there it was...she was a former Duke Lacrosse player at the same time Alleva’s daughter played. 100% bias with an agenda.

I seriously think there are a few people, with Pat Forde being the main one, who has some motive.
Its just an opinion and there is nothing concrete to back it up, but I don't understand why, since the start of this, they have been gunning for LSU.
When Dick Vitale was tweeting the shite he did about LSU, I was thinking maybe Wade was becoming a threat to the "blue bloods" in recruiting.. Or that it could have something to do with Vitale's foundation and he favors the programs whose coaches donate the most or something along that angle.. But I am convinced there is something more to this.
I still can't get over how Zion Williamson received $400k after committing to Duke, there was a report on it and then after that you nothing more about it.
